Cold. Focus. Breath. Repeat. ❄️

A look behind the scenes from our recent Pure Senses Ice Bath shoot, capturing the intensity, stillness and exhilaration of cold therapy within our Sauna Sanctuary.
There is something incredibly powerful about stepping into the cold... controlling the breath, settling the mind and staying present through the challenge.

A huge thank you to @bayleysm1th , who somehow kept smiling while spending more than four minutes at a time in the ice-cold water so we could capture these shots.
To Eunso @kpop.dancefit , for the calm and encouraging breathwork guidance throughout the shoot.
And to David Maguire from @fancast__productions for beautifully capturing the atmosphere, energy and fun of the day.

Our Ice Bath forms part of the Pure Senses Sauna Sanctuary, alongside our Traditional Finnish Sauna, Infrared + Red Light Sauna and outdoor cold therapy.
A space created to heat up, cool down, breathe deeply and reset.
And yes… judging by that final shot, we had a bit of fun along the way. 😉

Behind the scenes at Pure Senses ❄️📸

A huge thank you to @bayleysm1th for being such a legend and braving the ice-cold temperatures for yesterday’s shoot...holding out for over four minutes at a time while we captured the perfect shots. That definitely deserves some respect! 🥶👏
A special thank you to Eunso @168.c for being right there with her calm encouragement and breathwork coaching, helping Bayley stay focused, controlled and relaxed through the cold.

And a massive thank you to David Maguire from @fancast__productions for bringing it all together behind the lens and capturing our Ice Bath experience so beautifully.

There were definitely plenty of laughs along the way… as the final photo probably gives away.

These boys are strong physically, but even stronger in spirit.

When your gym bros are also your brothers in Christ, you know you've hit the jackpot with your circle.

These young lads give me more conviction and discernment than I'd like sometimes, and most of the time they don't even know it. Simply by the way they live and the example they set, they hold those around them accountable without preaching a single word.

We all have our strengths and weaknesses, but having the humility to acknowledge our own shortcomings is often the hardest part.

Having brothers like these makes that humility non-negotiable. They challenge you to be better, not just through their words, but through their actions.

That's the kind of freinds I want in my corner. Brothers who make me stronger in the gym, but more importantly, stronger in my faith.

CITY IMPACT CHRISTIAN MEN’S FORUM

Strength. Unity. Brotherhood. Faith.

This is what we’re all about.

Just a bunch of men getting together, enjoying God’s incredible creation, having a laugh, building genuine friendships and changing the perception of what it means to be a Christian man.

Before I came to faith, I had my own idea of what a “Christian man” looked like. It wasn’t until I actually met strong Christian men and began to understand what it means to follow the teachings of Jesus that my perception completely changed.

Following Christ doesn’t make men weaker. It creates a brotherhood where we can be strong enough to be honest with one another. Where we can communicate openly, share the highs and lows of life, carry one another’s burdens, hold each other accountable and celebrate the good times together.

No pretending. No walking through life alone. Just men doing life alongside other men, with Christ at the centre.

And sometimes, that looks like a bunch of lads taking 4x4s into the mountains, getting covered in mud and enjoying everything our Father created for us.

We’ve got so much more coming up with the Men’s Forum, and everyone is welcome.

Christian or non-Christian, if you’re a man looking for genuine brotherhood, community and fellowship, feel free to reach out and come along.

Come as you are. You’re welcome here.

God bless, brothers. 🙏

What an awesome weekend, and the perfect way to round off the celebrations for Luke's 21st birthday.

I've always believed that the company a man keeps says a lot about the man. Looking around this weekend, I couldn't help but feel incredibly grateful to be part of this friendship group and to be welcomed so warmly into a family like this.

Strong families build strong individuals. In a world that often feels disconnected, weekends like this remind me how important it is to find people who encourage you, challenge you, laugh with you, and walk alongside you.

Some of these friendships started in the gym. Others started in church. Some have grown through mountain walks, shared meals, birthdays, adventures, and simply doing life together. Different backgrounds, different stories but all brought together by something greater than ourselves.

Moving to New Zealand was one of the biggest decisions I've ever made. People like this have made it feel like home.
"But you are not to be called 'Rabbi,' for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers." Matthew 23:8

Here's to many more adventures together.
