Hey Mama, here’s something our family has been doing. Call it bringing back the trade.

One Friday night, another family looks after our kids so two parents get an evening out. The next weekend it reverses and we look after theirs. Two families, two nights out.

Trading works best for things with a clear start and finish: an evening of childcare, a meal, aride across town.

What’s harder is everything that never really stops. The appointments, the forms, the knowing what’s due and when. There’s no clean piece of that to hand anyone, which is exactly why it never goes away.

That’s the part Time Alchemy is for. It walks you through where your week actually goes, so you can work out what to hand off and how.

💌 Comment TIME and we’ll send the details to you via DM.

Coffee walks help us get into deep conversation quickly, what started as a celebration for Brittany’s company, Better Bleeding Control, quickly turned into further discussion about the shortcomings we both feel. #coffeewalkmd #innovation #entrepeneurlife #married #conversation

Fall does not ease you in. School starts, practices start, work is as busy as ever, and suddenly there are multiple schedules running that never quite sync.

And the second half of fall brings along a new set of tasks and to-do items added to the mental load. Costumes, holiday cards, winter travel, teacher gifts, all crammed into an already busy season.

Our founder @bbankheadmd 💗 recently wrote about the 10 things she recommends taking off your plate this month, with a premium and a budget-friendly version of each. Swipe for a few, then comment “BUSY FALL” and we’ll send Brittany’s full Substack list to your DMs.
