As the door closes, the outside world stays behind. Inside, a space engulfed in shadow. Penumbra is a part of the shadow. The soft edge where light and darkness blur, and neither exceeds the other. We don't banish what we've buried, we gather to sit beside it. Our next event takes place Saturday, November 7th at a secret innerwest location. @livattrill @kushkusshhh @bbbbman Message for ticket access

As a long time front-runner in Sydney’s underground techno scene, b_man is known to be an intrepid selector with a genuine ear. His sound is best described as musically raw and untethered - fusing hard hypnotic grooves with an abrasive edge, his approach to mixing is eclectic, blending multiple styles, emotions and intensities to create a journey that bridges the gap between darkness and euphoria. Co-founder of @yugenau a music collective and label born in Eora/Sydney. The label explores industrial, hypnotic and dark hardgroove techno combined with experiential storytelling to incentivise deep personal insights, spiritual growth and a journey of self exploration and catharsis through their music and events. What remains after silence, is our spirit that echoes. A friendly gathering, tucked away in the forests of Dharug Country—a land protected for generations by the Burramattagal clan. Guided by our local heroes and brought to life from shared passions in our community, we capture their musical essence, locked in time on sacred soil. Episode 4 features Chloe Skewesweir. As one of our dedicated local DJs on the rise, Chloe has steadily built a reputation as a selector with a genuine ear. For this rendition of Echoes, she takes us on a journey through uplifting sounds that feel both familiar and reimagined—delivering a timeless mix laced with grit and nostalgia. Yūgen would like to acknowledge that this event was held on the traditional lands of the Dharug people and we pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
