BBMD is making moves again 🚀

Big news around here - we’re growing! And you might be juuuust the person we’re looking for, so let’s give you a few details…

We’re seeking an experienced, technically proficient Interior Designer to work closely with our Founder and Principal Designer (a.k.a. yours truly, Becca).

If you’re the kind of person who takes initiative to handle projects and make decisions, has excellent attention to detail but can also keep a project moving, and loves creating beautiful homes (and a few other things, see above), please reach out! And if you’re just seeing this as an admirer of design, please send it to someone you think might be a good fit 😉

We can’t wait to hear from you! 🤍

Walk in once, and you will start picturing your whole life here. This fully renovated four-bedroom Shoreline home is built around a kitchen so beautifully designed it was featured in Rue Magazine.

Reimagined by BB Meyer Design, it is now the warm, light-filled heart of the home: a generous central island for gathering, custom pantry walls, and an integrated dining bar. Cambria Dovestone quartz and soft Natural Linen cabinetry warm Seattle’s gray days, anchored by an Italian-crafted Verona range.

Hardwood floors and custom millwork carry through a spacious living room with a gas fireplace, a den/office with built-ins made for workdays or a quiet read, and a convenient half bath round out the main-floor. Upstairs, you’ll find four bedrooms, including a stunning primary suite with a walk-in closet and its own three-quarter bath. With three more bedrooms, a full bath in the hall, and the convenience of upstairs laundry, this layout is the dream.

Out back, the covered patio keeps the rain off while letting the light shine through, and raised beds with low-maintenance turf keep the yard green without the weekend upkeep.

Built in 2000 and renovated top to bottom across 2,160 square feet, with central air conditioning and an attached two-car garage. Minutes to the light rail at 185th, Trader Joe’s, Town and Country Market, Costco, and I-5, with Shoreline schools nearby. All the hard work is done; all that’s left is to come home.

Photography can be expensive and time-consuming, so most designers don’t opt for an indiscriminate approach. This week, we asked six designers what goes into their decision to immortalize a space. For the full story, visit the link in bio.

Warmth. Function. Real life,
beautifully designed.

We’re honored to see this stunning #ShorelineKitchen project by BB Meyer Design featured in Rue Magazine,
a space thoughtfully crafted around the rhythms of everyday living, family gatherings, quiet mornings, and meaningful moments at home.

At the heart of the kitchen sits the Verona Prestige Series 36 inch Double Oven Electric Range in Stainless Steel,
bringing together Italian craftsmanship, refined performance, and timeless design in a kitchen built to be truly lived in.

From the warm neutral palette and layered textures to the custom cabinetry, open shelving, and natural light, every detail of this project feels grounded, elevated, and deeply human.

A perfect reminder that the best kitchens aren’t just designed to impress, they’re designed to support real life beautifully.

Throughout the design process of this Seattle-area kitchen, @bbmeyerdesign kept returning to the idea of creating a kitchen that feels truly lived in—“not precious or untouchable, but elevated in a way that invites daily use,” Becca reflects.

“Understanding the family’s routines and rituals was essential: how they drink their coffee, how mornings unfold, where keys are dropped at the end of the day. These details shaped the design just as much as materials or layout decisions. I think you deeply feel that energy in this kitchen, that it was designed to embrace real life—and a growing family.”
