Here’s some more good ideas and great advice from some lumberjackers and lumberjanes! Some have podiumed, some finished 10 times, some with many attempts and DNFs, but perseverance and finally finishing! How lucky to know and be known by such beautiful souls, to have friends willing to jump on a plane and see our new life

To fill our house with laughter and love and adventures

To jump on a plane all around to country- long distance friendships do take work but what a joy and honor it is to do that work with you ✨ you never take for granted the phrase, “I’ll see you tomorrow!”

While we’re super stoked for all the people lining up for our 19th LJ100 we’d like to do a little shoutout to all the Lumber Jane’s taking it on! Last year we had our highest number of women finishing at 45, this year with 81 toeing the line we have almost doubled the field! One of our first saw-earners was a woman, this year our second woman is going for hers after having done all but one of 10 LJ’s on a fat bike! 2 years ago we only had 1 woman racing singlespeed, last year 5 women SStepped up, this year there are 12 in the field! 🤯 Not to mention the 11 racing Masters and all the women behind the scenes volunteering and supporting as pit crew. This year we also have our youngest female racer at 13 years old signed up to race tandem with her dad, what a great Father’s Day idea! We’re super excited for all you racers that will be joining us, just wanted to do a little shoutout to the women who are taking the challenge on, thank you all for being an inspiration to future racers! See you all soon!
