🎄🎄 Favourite Things Party 🎄🎄

The items could be thrifted, baked or bought. Shockingly we didn't end up with any duplicate items. We set a limit of $15. Items could have been different or the same.

Girls nights are always my favourite. It recharges the nervous system in a way that nothing else seems too. In the holiday season which is so busy, it was nice to be able to have a bit of me time.

Hope you are able to carve out some joy for yourself this holiday season.

To the family you choose — I adore you. If nothing else, this year reminded me to make the plans, celebrate each other, and just get together. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or perfectly planned. Sometimes all it takes is 24 hours and that one friend who’s always willing to host.

Life gets busy and the demands can feel overwhelming, but trust me — the family you choose will fill your cup in ways you never imagined. I have so much fun with these ladies. We mostly met as mom bloggers that instead of treating each other as competition, we leaned into building friendships and collaboration that wasn't based on how much we could do for each other.

We decided to do a favourite things party where we each brought an item that allowed us to each leave with a goodie bag of items. It always surprises me that without much planning we end up bringing appies that match each other but don't have duplicates even each gift item was different.

The night was filled with laughter, honest answers to how we are doing, cat snuggles, tarot cards and a little gay romance with hockey players.

I am so looking forward to more of these nights in 2026.

There is nothing better than being with your friends during the holidays. Being with your favorite women before the family holiday chaos starts is priceless.

Us moms are the magic makers, the ones who do all the invisible labor and the work we do to keep it all going often goes unnoticed and under appreciated. So we like to make sure we all get together, celebrate eachother and make sure we feel valued.

Fill your partners stocking, be thoughtful, be kind to eachother and tell your mom's thank you this year.
