To Benny,

Five concerts. Five nights I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life. Thank you for “The Time of My Life,” and for giving all of us so many more times of our lives than we ever expected. There’s something rare about the way you love your fans — not from a distance, not as a performance, but like we’re genuinely part of your story. Every note, every glance out into the crowd, every moment you gave us your full self on that stage — we felt it. We felt seen. I don’t think there’s another artist out there who pours that much heart into the people who show up for him, and I hope you know how deeply that’s felt on our side too.

To the incredible band who brought every song to life night after night — thank you for the energy, the talent, and the joy you clearly share doing this together. It shows, and it makes every show unforgettable.

And to Team Boone, and every single person working behind the scenes to make these nights possible — thank you.

But some of the most beautiful memories weren’t just on stage. They were in the crowd — meeting fans from all over the world, strangers who became friends over a shared love for your music. That’s a gift too, and it wouldn’t exist without you.

Five shows. A lifetime of memories. Thank you, Benny. @bensonboone @mclean.long @dawsonwillss @be.hapie @cindy91608 @cf56_56 #bensonboone #imaginethis #wantedman #concerts @thenextfavorite @susvasquez @kellymarriott2015 @mrmontyjackson @imgonnacutshall_ @izabellaancona @the_beauty_within_jessica

POV: you somehow get your card to Benson Boone 🙊😃

We had wayyyyy too much fun making this slightly unhinged💅🏻Spider-Boone card. Thank you to everyone who signed it, cheered us on, and helped bring this ridiculous idea to life. ❤️

@shaydenschoonover and @dawsonwillss thanks for geeking out over the little details with us! 🤗 Seeing you get a kick out of it was hands down one of our favourite moments from the weekend❤️

Bobby said sometime before he died, "I think we're gonna meet Jason Mraz one day."

This picture is from 2013; first time seeing Mraz. Bobby & I ironically bought each other tickets to the same place in another state. Bobby said, well, who got the better tickets of course he did. But it was only one row in front of us. We used to play Mraz cd's and Raining Jane over and over and over and over and then some.

I'm going to see Jason Mraz tonight @ccperformingartscenter in Evans, Georgia
When Bobby was sick and dying, I laid down beside him, held his hand and played Mraz.
Bobby's favorite song that reminded him of me was Best Friends. Needless to say, I did play that one several times.

I really hope that song is played tonight and I'll be sitting front row. Definitely means a lot to me.

If I actually got to personally meet him today how awesome would that be. If not thats ok I'm along for the ride.

I got in bed around midnight, it's Saturday going into Sunday, about to listen to my Watchtower Study (jw.org) about #endurance & something feels too familiar. Then I remember 3 months ago to the day I did this same thing; difference was Bobby & I were laying shoulder to shoulder. I played the lesson so he could hear it. Study that night was about Jehovah God being a real person who sustains us & looks for ways to provide support. Bobby wrestled himself all night till that morning he could no more. We restfully laid there till sleep fell beyond him. He told me recently, "Fear is a reaction, courage is a decision." The pic of us is at our yearly convention 2018, theme: "Be courageous." Little did we know 2019 would be the beginning of many #trials to come. Tonight's study had song 126, "Stay Awake. Stand Firm, Grow Mighty." First two lines are, "Be determined to endure, carry on with manly courage." I really need to #meditate on this; courage, endurance, faith.....what does it really mean. How can this help me now? Every day is so hard/difficult, so many emotions over Lil things that you find you miss once it truly is gone, (i.e., inside jokes, random text, sharing my location of where I am...) or going back to a place we went, but I'm alone. Courage for me is to get up each day to learn a "new" me; do things Bobby would've wanted me to do, but I couldn't bc of fear of something new. Endurance to build faith in myself & what I believe in. Recalling how Jehovah has answered my prayers, sustained/supported me. David didn't see Goliath as something larger than him, Goliath was smaller to him bc God was much larger. Every step I take forward that feels huge is really one tiny step to what's insurmountable to what I may be able to overcome.
I look over now to my right, Bobby's not there, but what he left me with continues to provide me comfort. Having to remind myself of #guilt will only hold me back when I should #moveforward.

Song credit goes to @celinedion #courage it was composed d/t her own husband's ailments. It was released in #2019 it truly touched my heart & #sidenote when I first met Bobby 22 yrs ago he had several Célion Dion CD's
