in the spirit of pluto leaving capricorn

tits out y’all:
banners of radical love so so high
look your ancestors in the eye
bow down to what is wild

let the indigenous memory of the land you live with push you free

wetiko: the Algonquin word for the highly contagious and cannibalistic mind-virus that will destroy and consume everything and everyone on this blue-green earth until all that is left is white-phosphorus and ash.

to all the babies of all the creatures: every tiny hand, fin, paw, wing, tendril and leaf: you have my heart, my devotion, my art.

to all of those who identify as mother. now is the time to wield your world-making power.

during Liberia’s second civil war the women went on a hunger strike and a sex strike and said that there would be no more Liberians if the war continued. remember your power.

deep indigo thanks to @davidsinclairrobison @escuby.wav @alex.gardner.11 for helping me divinate this anthemic prayer to protect the innocence of creation and declare to what haunts the white european lineage and all it touches: nothing less than regenerative miracles are allowed through our double-helix any longer

endless praise and a bow to the the intuitive and purely magical painter @be.what.you.need for sharing their piece with me, ‘compassion of dawn’

song will appear on bandcamp this friday.
no money made from this song will stay with me but will be sent along to @pal.humanity

When @paulmasvidal first mentioned his idea of creating Sound Sigils, my whole being came ALIVE. I was so fascinated by the idea of working with an intention and creating sound out of these intentions, that I couldn’t let it rest. So, we decided to do the Sound Sigil Workshop together at the TOTEM Retreat in December 2022 and this is what came out.

The sound sigils you hear here are are a culmination of each person’s intention, @paulmasvidal ‘s incredible musicianship, and my space holding and the occasional drip of music medicine. Some of the sigils are even created by the participants themselves. 😭 The experience took us hours of meeting with each person to connect each intention to fitting sounds, textures, and sometimes vocals. And as we finished the last sigil, @paulmasvidal and I looked at eachother in complete disbelief at what had just been created. The love, the dedication, the presence, the uniqueness of each person’s energy and intention in combination with the creation of sound, just blew us away.

It brings me so much joy to share these with you all along with some beautiful shots by @avia.vision from the retreat. 🥹🌀✨

So much magick in this group and throughout the 2 weeks we spent together in the jungle of Bali. Thank you @_.kobrin._ for your vision, for bringing us all together, for your trust, and for you simply being you. You are a gem and I love you dearly.

And thank you to each person who joined the experience of creating Sound Sigils. WOW. I’m so in awe of each one of you.

🫧

We will be working closely with Sound Sigils / Sound Charms throughout the course of INSPIRA. 🫠 I can’t wait to share this process with you and to allow space for creation in such a special way 🔮

If you feel it, join us for INSPIRA, you beautiful creature🪞🌀

This was a trip of a lifetime and I couldn’t imagine a better way to remember the incredible time I’ve spent here in Bali with @_.kobrin._‘s Art and Magick Retreat.

To new friends from all over the planet who share the love and passion of art, musick and magick.

All the love! 🖤🖤🖤
