INTENTION GROWS WHERE YOUR ATTENTION GOES.
when you start treating your attention as currency, you become much more aware of where you decide to apply it. think of your attention as sacred (bc it is) and watch how fast you up spiral your life. be well 💚

DO IT SCARED! 🗣️

sometimes you’ll get the call before you feel you’re “ready”, the key is to go anyway. do it scared, do it nervous, do it even when you don’t see the full vision from where you’re standing and see how much you’re truly able to unlock. the potential is vast and endless— get out of your own way.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR HEART?

the world around you softens— as a reflection of you. when you approach life w/ an open heart, everything and everyone that you encounter will begin mirroring your vulnerability. leading with kindness and compassion for yourself will allow your healing journey to take place w/o shame, guilt, or haste. you’ll be graceful with yourself which will allow you to graceful with others. step into your softness and embrace what comes. 🫂

HEALTHY BOUNDARY SETTING

as you begin to heal, communicating clear boundaries will feel less anxiety-inducing and more like an affirmation of who you are. it’ll feel less like a rehearsal and more like the confidence of show day! boundaries allow for the maximum amount of clarity. people, jobs, and opportunities that are made for you will only flourish when you decided to draw clear lines in the sand—while every thing that is not for you will be repelled by the fact that you are choosing to show up for yourself. in the end, it’s all for the best!

SELF-ABANDONMENT

many of us don’t even know we have a self-abandonment wound to heal because we live in a society that often encourages and romanticizes the turning on oneself. in, both, little and large ways. decide for yourself today that you want healing and that you are the person you especially want it for. it’s never too late to show up! be yourself—and be well while you do it 💚.

As children we develop habits, coping skills, and protective barriers to help us navigate the emotional pain we may experience as a direct result of our trauma.

Our brains and bodies are so powerful that they alter in order to protect us from whatever dangers we are facing! Developing these defenses is the easy task for your brain, the more difficult task is learning to quiet them when they are no longer needed.

After trauma it can be extremely difficult to not see the world as one big threat. When those feelings and defenses go unresolved they can manifest in other ways. It’s time to take control of your life and begin the journey of releasing your trauma. Invest in your inner child, they need you.
