POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I forgot to post this earlier - hilarious evening with @boogaloostu at his Big Quiffy Pride Quiz, where our team 'Ursula's Bitches' came second! In a serendipitous moment earlier that day, I picked up the Divine 12" single Shoot Your Shot and our #ursulatheseawitch mascot from the @beaconcharityshops not realising that Ursula from #thelittlemermaid🧜‍♀️ is actually based on Divine! @divineofficial #lgbthistory #lgbtbrighton #hectorspub

🎭 CAST TO PLACES! 🎭

Tonight is technical rehearsal for Façade—bringing together every light, cue, note and moment as we prepare to welcome audiences this weekend.

To every member of Actually Gay Men's Chorus: thank you. Thank you for your commitment, friendship and belief in one another. Week after week you've supported each other, laughed together, learned together and created something far greater than any one voice could achieve alone. That's what this chorus is all about, and we're incredibly proud of every one of you.

Our heartfelt thanks also go to our amazing Music and Production Teams. To Musical Director Samuel James-Cousins, Deputy Musical Director Simon Gray, Producer Jack Merrington, and everyone behind the scenes—thank you for trusting us with your vision, creativity and music. Together you've shaped Façade into a production that inspires, challenges and celebrates the courage to be ourselves.

To our chorus, band, guest artists, backstage crew and front-of-house volunteers... break a leg! The façade is about to crack.

A special thank you to The Sussex Beacon, our Members' Choice Charity, who will be with us on both evenings. Please give generously to the Beacon team at their bucket collections after each performance. Every donation supports their incredible work as they transition to become the UK's first dedicated LGBTQIA+ hospice.

Now it's over to you...

We're aiming for a full house. Join us for an unforgettable evening where Jekyll & Hyde, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Toréador Song, Rise Like a Phoenix, Who Wants to Live Forever, Colour My World, One of Us and more come together in a programme as bold and thought-provoking as the stories behind it.

🎭 Façade
📅 17 & 18 July 2026
🕗 8.00pm (Doors 7.30pm)
📍 St Mary's Church, Upper St James's Street, Brighton
