SXSW 2026 through our lens: grainy, loud, a little chaotic, and exactly how it should be.

Built this weekend, one frame at a time with my best friend and our co-founder, Andrew. No color needed.

It’s 2017: Andrew and Ford started throwing SXSW shows together ... in the backyard of a house in a residential neighborhood in ATX... it pissed off the neighbors but was a thing of legend to the 100s of people who came to see bands play. Fast forward 9 years, and what was the Hippie House has morphed into a full-fledged independent agency. Working with over 20 venues across 7+ states, producing over 500 shows a year.

It’s now 2026: we get to return to SXSW together and showcase an amazing show we booked @MohawkAustin. The prodigal sons return for another go in the Texas heat, captured in 35mm film and Super 8 video (still to come)

From live shows to Sober Space hosted by SIMS Foundation, @SXSW 2026 truly captured the spirit of why we support the Central Texas music community.

As we reflect on an incredible week filled with connection, music, and community, we want to share a few snapshots from the journey... including unforgettable performances from @Nakia and @ErinJWalter of @ParkerWoodlandBand along with our SIMS team out and about.

Support our local music community with a gift to SIMS! (Link in Bio)
