A huge shoutout to the whole @bearswithoutborders team, @jessefifita @marymacmusic @courtneyf.oto for the invitation to sow seeds at the very first @officialrootsfestival. What an honor to stand with leaders who are building up our community through service, culture, and purpose.

I’ve been to a lot of festivals, but this one was different. This one carried a mission. A beautiful vision to send students to Tonga, to serve, to learn, and to reconnect with the depth of our Tongan roots. I first caught wind of their journey through the talented storytelling through cinematography by @courtneyf.oto. Her work kept me glued to the mission. Which was how I learned that the first school they renovated was at Talafoou where my sister in Law @nakiohai was the principal of at the time. After I saw that, I called Jesse and Mele and asked if I could join them in 2019. And boy was I glad I did. That experience is a trip I advise anyone to invest in sending their high school students. Truly a Life changing experience. If you want to support something real, something generational please donate to the link in their Bio and also give them a follow and learn more about the movement they’re building.

My family was humbled to present the first ever Legacy Award, named in honor of my Father, to an incredible organization making waves in the South Pacific. I was also honored to have my mom, my kids, @smlcrouch74 and siblings on stage to share this moment. To see his name tied to work that uplifts our people… that’s the kind of full circle moment only God can orchestrate. It was an Honor to present this first Legacy Award to these movers and shakers!! Keep Building Gods kingdom fam! 🏗️🏗️🏗️
