A fresh face, a familiar mission.

Premiering now on EG, Auckland producer @cooper__khan makes his @beatandpath debut with ‘Ohhh My’, a playful indie-tech groover built on swing, attitude, and pure dancefloor instinct.

The release also brings the label back to one of its founding ideas: giving emerging talent a platform and pushing the next wave forward.

🌑 Ranch-O-Radio 123: Eclipse Special 2026 ☀️
Recorded during the Total Solar Eclipse of 2026, this mix is a little time capsule of a very special moment.
There’s something powerful about an eclipse. For a brief moment, the light disappears, the shadows take over, and then, slowly, the light finds its way back.

This episode is about that feeling.
Honouring the shadows.
Embracing the light.

Letting go of what’s been and opening ourselves to whatever comes next.

So wherever you are in the world, put on your headphones, turn it up, and come disappear into the eclipse with me.

Listen to the sound.
Ride the adventure.

XOXO

Pete Philips - I Can’t Explain EP (incl. Uone & Western Remix) - Beat & Path Recordings

Promos landed in DJs inboxes
Released 21.08.26

Beat & Path Records is excited to welcome Canadian producer and live act Pete Philips to the label with his mesmerising new EP, I Can’t Explain.

Released as BNP075, the two-track EP introduces Pete’s distinctive blend of electronica, indie dance, and techno, pairing rich harmonies, lush synthesizers, and his own vocals and guitar with an unmistakable sense of nostalgia and emotion.

The EP opens with I Can’t Explain, an immersive original that draws the listener into a hazy, dreamlike world. Hypnotic, melodic, and deeply atmospheric, the track captures a fleeting moment of connection and reflection, unfolding with a warmth that lingers long after the final note.

Taking the original in a new direction, Uone & Western deliver a mesmerising remix that adds their own distinctive touch to the track, elevating its emotional depth while introducing a deeper, more hypnotic dancefloor energy.

Power of Pure Felt is the sound of reaching your desert guru. Giant sitars, hypnotic acid basslines and deep cinematic western mysticism collide as the sage delivers a simple message: Wrangler keep riding on. 🌵✨🪶

“Are you good at imagining?”

Real Human Responses — Track 7 from the Uone & Western album ventures into the darker, more futuristic side of the record. Harder, grittier, and charged with tech-house energy, it explores the idea that authentic memories create authentic emotional reactions.
Cinematic, immersive, and driven by a sense of humanity within an increasingly digital world, this is a journey through memory, emotion, and the echoes that make us truly human.
