The Contract I grew up looking at wedding photographs of women who looked beautiful and wondering what happened after the picture was taken. They looked like love. But sometimes the things we’re taught to desire most; marriage, devotion, being chosen, are more complicated than they appear. Some women stay for a lifetime and are still never told they are loved. Rooted in family stories and inherited memories, this collection explores the wife and the courtesan, women judged differently, yet often asked for the same submission, sacrifice, and performance. Because love should be something else. Passion. Joy. Tenderness. A space where no one has to disappear. And perhaps the greatest freedom is choosing your own ending. .☘︎ ݁˖ Summertime Portraits: Beatriz (1), Jieun (2), Liepa (3) `✦ˑ ִֶ 𓂃⊹ Already by mid-August I began to feel a light breeze of autumn. Slowly, the air cools, inviting me to look back at (not just another) summer that is about to pass. As someone raised in long winters, summer has always been a magical season for me — a time of bright colors, bold flavors, and strong scents, a season of saying more “yes,” infused with the energy of the sunlight. These portraits were taken in different moments — some staged, others simply caught in between life unfolding. I cherish their playfulness and the way they carry me back to memories of sharing joyful moments with my beautiful girlfriends.
