In 2015 we were honored by the @therescuetrain with the Indy Spirit Award (pictured with Angel). The @racefortherescues event is an iconic one and should not to be missed. @beaumont44 has been a @standupforpitsfoundation volunteer for over a decade and is one of the smartest and most dedicated advocates we've ever known. She is also a dedicated @therescuetrain - who we love - volunteer and works tirlelessly every year for this event.

We encourage you all to get to the Rose Bowl for this epic day and go meet and share some of the precious dogs (swipe left) who will be there from Kern County Animal Services. Everyone please share this with and we hope you can make it. It's a great time!

Los Angeles leaders and all those whose job it is to protect the animals think ignoring, gaslighting and lying to us and the public will make us shut up and go away.

It won't.

It's making us angrier, more united, louder and determined than ever. We are not and will not ever accept what is happening as the "norm." It's not. It's diabolical.

Today's UNHINGED podcast episodes were incredible.

The horrors animals are enduring and the mental anguish and trauma the humans fighting for them are going through is all preventable and fixable. But Los Angeles "leaders" and others are purposely allowing it all to happen.

Everyone has two choices. You can be part of the solution and on the right side of history by joining the fight for the animals or you can say silent, inactive and pretend to not see it.

If you choose the latter - you are part of the problem and don't get to complain when animal abusers commit crimes against you, your children and your communities -- cause they will. The @standupforpitsfoundation has been screaming this truth for 16 years -- "where there is animal abuse, there is always other crime." We screamed it at our nations capitol back in 2014 and have not stopped - yet some choose to live in stupidity instead of the truth.

If you have been this person, change. Wake up. Use your voices. Fight against all who condone cruelty and mass killing.

Thank you to all the amazing guests and everyone who is making the podcast possible. There were some moments of joy had by everyone today and we fucking deserve it. The @standupforpitsfoundation is honored to provide a voice for those dedicated to educating, advocating and saving lives and who too are unhinged and enraged by the torture and mass killing on streets and in "No Kill" shelters. We are shooting more episodes tomorrow.

We are excited to announce the incredible @mindyster, @sullivannicole and @sarahcolonna1 will be guests on our limited series podcast, “UNHINGED,” hosted by @rebeccacorry.

These women are brilliantly talented, equally kind and dedicated to ending abuse, discrimination and saving the lives of inherently good dogs. All have and remain dedicated to the @standupforpitsfoundation and all we do and we love them for it. Do what these incredible women do! The world needs more good humans fighting for the animals like they do.

UNHINGED isn’t a typical podcast. It’s candid truth in conversation. Every episode is a movie.

Todd and his soulmate Sally have been featured on @thedodo several times. Their story is as unique and special as they are. What an honor to get to love these two perfect souls who overcame every odd and unthinkable abuse at the hands of humans. While people say "it how you raise them" that's not completely true. Almost every pit bull type the @standupforpitsfoundation has helped and saved over the past 16 years - thousands upon thousands - they have all endured horrific abuse in one way or another and every single one of them loved humans unconditionally. Sadly, some cannot overcome the evils of humanity but almost all do. They are born inherently good and they have the capqcity to love and forgive far greater than any human. Dogs are not the "dangerous" and "unpredictable" ones - HUMANS are. And when dogs react in a way perceived as "negative" by humans they are rarely ever given grace or understanding as to why. Instead they are blamed, vilified, banned, discriminated against and killed while the two legged monsters at the end of the leash responsible for their pain and suffering are never held accountable.

Those who wrongly vilify voiceless victims, abuse, torture and kill these dogs are far more dangerous than any dog of any kind could ever be.

HAPPY GOTCHYA DAY TODD! You are loved beyond words. 🖤🖤🖤🖤

10 years ago Todd and who is believed to be his mom, Lucille were rescued by the @standupforpitsfoundation. Nine lives in total were removed from this house of horrors. The only two survivors - Todd & Lucille. The rest were killed. Lucille had been bred multiple times. Her little body was broken and battered. Her ears ripped and nipples hanging. They lived in what they called a "dungeon" under the house. After funding nearly 30k of medical care for Lucille, her body could not overcome the hell she had endured. Lucille died of Babesia Gibsoni - a blood disease common amongst dogfighting victims. A tragic and devastating loss of life. She never got to experience freedom but we made sure Lucille felt love.

Dogfighting is an epidemic in America. It is being done by people of all ages, ethnities and in all tax brackets. It is one of the most horrific forms of cruelty and where there is dogfighting there is always other crime. The dogs are not the dangerous ones, the humans are. These dogs have been brutally victimized and wrongly vilified for decades while the humans commiting these heinous acts of violence continue to get away with it.

Todd is the sole survivor. He is one of the lucky ones. The vast majority are not so lucky. Today we will celebrate his beautiful life by sharing all things Todd. For the past ten years Todd has shown the world the inherent goodnesss he and all like him are born with. He has inspired, educated, brought joy and light into the lives of everyone he meets and knows him without ever saying a word. He is one of one. A magical miracle and precious soul we are all so lucky to share the planet with. He loves all animals, all of humanity and could not be cuter if he tried.

Todd has cancer and now at 11 years old, is struggling with some cognitive and mobility issues. Every day and every moment with Todd is a gift. He is loved, protected, adored and cherished.

Lets all celebrate the beautiful life that is Todd on this - his gotchya day. 🖤

Thank you @beaumont44 for being such an important part of Todd's (and Lucille's) life from day one. He adores you like no other.

Gladys was thrown away like literal garbage - dumped in a box and left at the @lancasteranimalslaco shelter. She was saved by the @standupforpitsfoundation. Her little body battered, infected, neglected, emaciated and had been used repeatedly for breeding. She will have a surgery in January to remove a mammary tumor, hernia and she will be spayed. The tumor and hernia are caused from repeated breeding. The surgery estimate is $5000.00. This #givingtuesday please consider donating towards her care. Thank you!

The @mayorofla made a conscious choice to ignore our repeated demands for action, help and resources to end the suffering and killing of dogs happening in plain sight on Skid Row, the horrific treatment and killing of animals in "No Kill" Los Angeles city shelters or address the silencing of volunteers who are repremanded, "fired," glaslit and glaslit for speaking out about what they see happening to the animals.

The @standupforpitsfoundation has filed a lawsuit against the city of Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass and those who have and remain complicit to the abuse and cruelty of animals happening on Los Angeles city streets and in city shelters.

This is a horrific crisis solely about the ethical treatment of animals which has been going on in Los Angeles for years before Karen Bass and will continue to worsen long after she is gone if it does not stop NOW.

@standupforpitsfoundation has funded tens of thousands of dollars in life saving medical care for victims of Skid Row and LA city shelters dogs all because those who's job it is to protect and care for the animals REFUSE. Los Angeles is in a state of emergency and those who sit silent are also complicit. It you voted for Karen or any others in the past who have been complicit to the killing and suffering of animals in your city - NOW IS THR TIME TO SPEAK UP AND DEMAND CHANGE. Their job is to serve their communities and protecting the animals is part of that.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. There is nothing "no kill" about KILLING ANIMALS.

We still can’t get over Saturday… it meant so much seeing everyone show up for the animals.🥺❤️🙏🏻

There are so many people to thank, but we want to give our flowers to Lisa the event director for putting this event together. This was no easy task, and the team behind it had the grit to make sure it still happened.

We’ll try our best to tag everyone who was involved and made a difference! Here’s a recap video of some moments from the day that helped raise over $350k!

Please share this PSA.

It'd be super if there was no need for events to help save dogs from sociopaths.

Thanks.
