Lots of people tell us how amazing it must be to dedicate your lives to serving, but it's not always so easy.

Some days are harder than others.

Here some highlights of the good days ❤️

What a journey. Over 7 months of serving the less fortunate !!

…and to be honest we were just serving in blind faith at the start.

But now we can confidently say we are building something that will outlast us.

Keep an eye out for the launch of our giving platform next month, which is essentially a platform similar to go fund me, but with added layers of transparency and user engagement - so you can now donate not only to our charity but charity’s all over the world.

Now donors can finally have confidence in donating, knowing that their money has created true impact - with milestone payment releases and community reviews.

Effort.giving app coming next, then into the big @effortexchange app where we bring some innovation to the industry!

Big year ahead, let’s get it 2026 ✅

This time, I returned to Poguwatu Hamlet to observe the village’s condition during the rainy season. The visit also aimed to monitor several ongoing projects, such as the construction of the water reservoir and other infrastructure works. Additionally, I wanted to reaffirm our commitment to supporting the community and encouraging cooperation to address the challenges the village is facing.

I also inspected the access road to the village, which becomes increasingly slippery during the rainy season. The absence of weekly trucks makes it difficult for residents to bring their harvest to the market and also delays construction work, as all materials must be transported from outside the village.

Another important matter is the village’s electricity installation plan. During this visit, I confirmed information regarding the installation costs, schedule, and estimated completion time.

I conduct visits like this several times a month, considering the journey from Waingapu, East Sumba, to the village takes about five hours, including rest stops.
