Your breathing habits change by the time you're 5 1/2 years old according to @drbelisa It comes from things like wearing heavy backpacks, poor posture, and sitting in school all day. What's the big deal? Well, poor breathing manifests into other problems as we become adults. Problems like: 1️⃣ IBS or acid reflux 2️⃣ Back pain, and 3️⃣ Anxiety That's why I'm so passionate about teaching kids TODAY how to breathe properly. They don't need to have all these problems we adults have. 🧡 If you want a fun tool to use to teach your kids mindful breathing, head to my link in bio 🔗 and Use code BUDDY5 for $5 OFF and free shipping on U.S. orders! 📸 @threecrownsbranding

I'VE REBRANDED! 🧡 And here's why... We weren't taught how to properly handle stress or anxiety as kids. As a result, we have physical adult ailments such as: 💪🏻 Muscle tension 😬 Pain (jaw clenching or grinding) 😴 Low energy/fatigue 🤕 Stomach or digestive issues 🥱 Sleep problems So how can you teach your kids how to handle stress when YOU were never taught how? I always say the simplest things in life are the most effective. So I've made it easy for you. ➡️I created the BE Buddy® This stress relief toy is an easy way for parents and educators to become familiar with breathwork so they can implement daily breathing exercise routines. The @bebuddy is my own invention; a mindful tool to help kids breathe well to BE well. Think of it as a safety blanket for dealing with stress. Except the knowledge they gain from using this tool is ACTUALLY something they’ll take with them into adulthood. 😉 When you order through Amazon Prime, you'll get an entire Resource Portal on how/when to use it along with my favorite breathing exercises to get your kids feeling calm, focused, and connected. 🧡 The BE Buddy® is available on Amazon Prime! 📸 @katemorriscreative

According to Dr. Belisa Vranich, Psychologist, author, and creator of The Breathing Class™, “9 out of 10 American’s breathe wrong." This causes stress on your body AND your mind. How do you feel stress in your body? Swipe to see a diagram ➡️ Stress can give you: 😰 Increased heart rate 😰 Flushing or feeling hot 😰 Sweating 😰 Fast, shallow breaths 😰 Shortness of breath 😰 Dizziness 😰 Queasy tummy 😰 Feeling shaky or trembling 😰 Chills 😰 Desire to run or hide By correcting your breathing habits you can effectively reduce your stress. And the good news is, you can whip out these breathing exercises at any time: in the car, before a Zoom call, and at work or school. As parents, we need to learn to control our own breath and stress before we can teach them to our kids. However, you'll BOTH benefit from the long-term effects of breathing well and learning to control your stress. 🧡 If you're still not sure how to reduce stress, watch my FREE webinar. It's called "How To Reduce Your Child's Anxiety" but I promise that you parents will love it, too 🤗

The original BE Buddy® looked very different from the one for sale today. ⠀ ⠀ The original BE Buddy® had more sensory elements (sewn-on eyes and mouth). But then, the sewn-on details proved to be a potential choking hazard. ⠀ ⠀ Additionally, each BE Buddy® was different from one another, making e-commerce a challenge. This was when I started working with my neighbor, friend, and graphic designer, Randy, to create characters. ⠀ ⠀ This resulted in the 6 BE Buddies we know today (after several revisions). Material sourcing, pattern making, labor/manufacturer, labels, and patent application came next. ⠀ ⠀ Each phase in the process was a lot, and I felt like giving up time and time again. I wanted to quit often but was determined to see my creation come to life and help kids with the tools they need. ⠀ ⠀ Needless to say, it was a very emotional moment when I saw the first BE Buddy® come together! And when I finally saw them in the hands of children in a classroom setting... pure bliss! ⠀ ⠀ 🧡 What have you been working on lately? And what do you do to relieve some of your anxiety and stress?
