Early press reactions are over the moon for Lili Horvát's MY NOTES ON MARS! 🌔

VARIETY:
“Davis is tremendous in the role”
“Some dazzling aesthetic confidence”

THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER:
“A clever sci-fi puzzler”
“Horvat is on to something even more deliciously odd with a study that mashes together grief, matrimonial disharmony, the alien nature of mathematical minds, and desire’s wild pursuit of obscure objects”
“It’s hard to imagine anyone other than Davis, with her own otherworldly beauty and naïve quality, in the lead role while Friend brings a bumptious solidity that suits Sam as written”
“A screwy, off-centered view of modern love”

SCREENDAILY:
“A genre-coded tale of love, desire, and control”
“Lili Horvat’s eerie and enigmatic genre-coded third feature (...) offers no easy answers in its exploration of love, desire and control, but exerts its own compelling gravitational pull”
“Davis is excellent in her portrayal of both versions of Margot, the warm intellectual of the first section contrasting with the rather more strange, instinctive character who returns from the wilderness”

INTERNATIONAL CINEPHILE SOCIETY:
‘A compelling and frequently thought-provoking glimpse into the inner architecture of the human mind”
“An incredibly talented Lili Horvat”
“Another well-crafted character study by one of the most exciting filmmakers working today”
“A fascinating blend of science fiction and psychological drama”
“A thorough portrait of humanity through the lens of two people attempting to navigate a world that neither of them seems able to fully comprehend”
“At the heart of My Notes on Mars are two very strong performances”
“It’s impressive work based on how much Davis is asked to run the emotional gamut”
“A sprawling existential epic”
“A quietly devastating portrait of the human condition”
“A hauntingly beautiful psychological drama that dares to ask some of life’s most impossible questions”

We had such a blast at the NYC theatrical premiere of Late Fame followed by Q&A moderated Martin Scorsese with director Kent Jones, Willem Dafoe, and Edmond Donovan. This film has such a big heart and an incredible crew behind it (see last photo!) and we’re so pumped that it’s now out in theaters for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks so much to @martinscorsese_ for leading such a thoughtful discussion on NYC, nostalgia, acting through the generations, and filmmaking.

Oh @ohhi_movie I can’t even put into words how much I love you. @sophbrooks vision was iconic from page one. This crew became a family I hope to be working with forever… and of course no film production would be complete without getting a ticket that requires you to go to court in Kingston, New York. The judge was very excited about the film. She let me off with a warning.

Thank you @sonyclassics for bringing our indie to theaters.

I always look forward to seeing Logan Lerman make an appearance on the big screen. His new movie Oh Hi tells the story of a couple who go on a romantic getaway and when things seem like they’re off to a good start, things begin to take a turn for the worst. Experience the movie in theaters today. #ohhimovie #movie #comedy #drama #darkcomedy #romance #iris #isaac #mollygordon #couple #RomanticGetaway #2025 #ohhi #bed #actor #actress #filming #movies #ComedyMovie #fanart
