What happens when 12 mystery authors get hold of a fairgrounds?

Well, the events calendar gets a little concerning. 😂

Introducing Honey Creek Fairgrounds Cozy Mysteries, a new series of 12 standalone books coming February–March 2027!

A Craft Fair. A Cave Convention. A Farmers Market. A Tiny House Expo. A Book Lovers Festival. A Bluegrass Festival. A Christmas Convention. And plenty more reasons to gather in one place and become a suspect.

The stories span 1923 to the present day, so Honey Creek has had quite a history.

Stop letting imposter syndrome, perfectionism, and writer’s block kick your ass. Your book doesn’t have to be perfect; it just has to be written. So go write that book, because there’s someone out there who needs the story only YOU can tell. 🔥📚📖 #bookstagram #indieauthor #authorlife #authorofinstagram #authorsofinstagram

So fun.

I'm honestly at that point where I can't get the novel done fast enough. But it needs another round of reads and a proof.

I'm not changing the story, but I need to make sure it's consistent and I've read and made so many revisions I can't remember what I've done. 😂🤣

Thanks to @becbecwrites for this idea.

📚 Book Mail Has Arrived! 📚

A signed copy always makes my heart thump a little harder! 💙 There's something so special about holding a book an author has personally signed—it makes every story feel even more meaningful.

I'm so excited to add The Dose Makes the Poison by Rebecca Bourne to my TBR. With a tagline like "The difference between medicine and murder is a fine line," I'm expecting plenty of suspense, twists, and secrets. I can't wait to dive in!

A huge thank you to Rebecca Bourne for this beautiful signed copy. Supporting authors and sharing their stories is one of my favorite parts of being a book influencer.

💙 Question: Do you prefer signed copies or special edition books, and what's the most treasured book on your shelf? 📚✨

All of these women are absolutely amazing, and have supported me in my journey. Buying their books is the least I can do to support them.

If you aren't following them you should be.

The Unlikely Hero is a children's fantasy novel about a ten year old girl named Iggy. I bought it for my daughter to read this summer, but it looks so good I'm reading it first (or maybe I'll get another copy and we can read it together). ❤️

The Dose Makes the Poison is a murder mystery, from a beautiful young lady I had the honor to attend writing sprints with. The novel explores the underside of paramedics in rural Appalachia.

J. W. Rose, without a doubt is one of the coolest, kindest women on Instagram. I read another novel of hers, It's Not Supposed to be Pretty, last summer and couldn't put it down. This summer, I'm looking forward to this collection of short stories.

Imagine my surprise when I saw the size of The Lattice Scheme, a speculative mystery/thriller novel. The author is brilliant and kind, so I can't wait to see what she's done here-even if it may take me all summer.
