FORGE X HALE TRAINING CLUB 🔥💪 Forge clinicians getting to grips with the new kit down at @haletrainingclub 📈 As clinicians, it’s important we know how to use the equipment ourselves before coaching our patients through a movement. We had a play around with some of the new glute-specific machines, looking at different ways to load the muscles and build strength throughout rehab. Always looking for new ways to improve what we offer our patients at Forge! 💪 Thanks Theo & Becky for the incredible demonstration 😂🔥 #rehab #physio #htc #training

Running-related injuries don’t always need 6 months of rest and a few stretches from YouTube! ✅🏃‍♂️ What they need is a clinician who can carry out a thorough initial injury assessment, taking a 360° look at their injury history, symptoms and overall function. From there, we identify objective deficits and areas to focus on when building a personalised treatment and rehabilitation plan. 📈 This patient came to Forge after 6 months without running due to IT Band Syndrome (ITBS). It’s a condition I’ve helped over 20+ runners overcome, supporting their return to long-distance running pain-free through hands-on treatment and progressive exercise rehabilitation. On assessment, his 3 key deficits were: 1️⃣ Tightness in the quadriceps & hip flexors 2️⃣ Weak hip abductors 3️⃣ Poor lateral hip and knee control He’s now gone away with a personalised 2-week rehabilitation programme and booked his follow-up session. Next step? Getting him into the gym to rebuild strength, improve movement control and progressively work towards running and jumping pain-free. 💪 Rest alone doesn’t always solve the problem. Building your body’s capacity to tolerate running is key! 📈 Struggling with running-related pain? Drop the team at @forgeinjuryperformance a message and get back on the road to recovery! ✅ #running #kneepain #manchester #sportsrehab #rehab
