Creator of all beautiful things. Thank you for the opportunity to use my hands for your manifestation. Give me the courage to create art, to build confidence and exhibit your love through my brushes. Humble me if I ever take your gift to be for granted. Allow me the ability to aspire to inspire, one beautiful face at a time.

Appreciating all the blessings life has given me, for the beautiful canvases I was blessed to paint and for the love that surrounds me each and everyday.

This goes without saying but 2021 was a rollercoaster. For society, the world, humanity. I was no different, on a personal level. I started therapy again, and made some real progress in unpacking some baggage and tackling some trauma. Now that I'm on the path, I'm stuck staring down the next step on my journey and it feels like two steps forward and one step back a lot of the time, but I suppose that's still progress.

Professionally, it feels odd to say, but it was a banner year. I had a hand in bringing three(!!) pieces to the stage as productions, and three more(!!) to life in reading form. Each was a spectacular experience and I've made a lot of friendships with some immensely powerful artists this year that I'm looking forward to further collaboration with in the time to come. I've tagged them in the photos, so swipe through to see em all!

I've ended this post with a picture of a worry stone I was gifted last spring. It's meant to be carried in a pocket, and held and rubbed when one needs to feel grounded. I just found it in my my nightstand drawer, and it feels like I'm gonna need this a lot over the next few weeks.

We'll see you next year.
