The future of veterinary medicine is BLACK AND BEAUTIFUL🤩 Very thankful I didn’t listen to the devil on my shoulder telling me not to go. This conference always breathes life, motivation, and inspiration into me. NABV is more than just networking. This organization is a support system. We lift, encourage, and challenge each other, all while developing meaningful friendships. Loved connecting with old friends and making SOOO many new ones. I love all my future colleagues!! Thank you all for reminding me of my why 🫶🏾🩷

⚜️6th Annual National Association of Black Veterinarians Conference ⚜️ I left Nola with many new connections - to include my new love for Cafe Beignet’s key lime tart😩. I can never express just how much it means to me to go from my PWI and white-dominated field to a conference filled with professionals that look like me. Forever grateful for the opportunity to represent the organization as a national rep, vet student, and chapter president. Same time next year?
