🚨Chesapeake City Park market is OPEN tomorrow 8-12!🚨This week EVERYTHING lined up for greens! We planted more and finally the heat and bugs cooperated. We have well over 200 bags of greens! The only thing is East Beach/EOV Farmers Market CANCELED their market due to weather tomorrow. BUT I WILL be at The Farmers’ Market at City Park at Chesapeake City Park rain or shine 8-12. So grab your raincoat and come shop the market we have all of your veggie needs tomorrow. East beach customers Chesapeake City Park is 25-30 minutes from you guys so head on to my market for all of your veggies needs! We will also have veggies at Riffle Farms Market & Co-op.

The energy of this day lives on in my soul on an almost daily basis. If you were there and we met, you know exactly what I mean.

If not, honestly, you missed out, but let me catch you up.

It was March at Mick Hunt’s Lead Loud event in Greenville, where I had one of the best days of my professional life meeting and learning from some of the smartest (and simultaneously kindest and most abundant) humans I’ve ever been blessed to spend time with.

And it set off a spark in my heart for what was ahead.

A candid chat this afternoon with one of those humans was validating and felt like a straight up electric charge to my spirit.

Bryan Davis, you have a forever fan in me, brother!

The @highjoylove cardboard art sculpture from @virginiamoca that was collaborated on with the community is now being exhibited at @seldenmarket through beginning of June because the power of joy charged from it was too good to just live for one day! 🥳✨🖍️🔆📦

I mean where do I even start. I saved this one for last because I wanted to get it right.

Before I ever met Mick Hunt, I had already read his book “How to be a good leader”. I had this picture in my head of who he was. Successful leader. Busy man. Someone operating at the highest level.

Then I walked into the room at first Lead Loud event and went to shake his hand.

“Bring it in, we’re family now.”

That was the first thing he said to me. Not a handshake. A hug. And he already knew who I was. He had taken the time before the summit to learn about me and what I was building at VroomBrick before I had ever spoken to him.

Mick opened the entire summit. He set the tone for everything that followed. His energy was contagious, and you could feel every person in that room lock in the moment he started speaking.

But what stuck with me most was not what he said on stage. It was what he said after. As the event wrapped up, he told me that if I ever needed anything, to reach out. That he wanted to support what I was doing, however he could, and you could tell he meant it.

Someone at his level, with his schedule, making time like that. You never forget how people treat you and make you feel. That is the kind of leader I desire to be. It reminded me of how my family would treat me if I were back home.

He responds to Instagram messages. He shows up the same way whether you are a CEO or a first-time founder at your first event. He is proof that success and humility go together.

The entire Lead Loud experience was something I didn't know I needed. From the guest speakers to the conversations over lunch to the lessons that hit different when you're in a room full of authentic leaders. Every part of it was intentional. Shout out to Ty Schmidt for capturing and sharing all of this great content, definitely one of the best people I met that weekend. Big thanks to Nada Lena, Robert Irvine, Nick Nanton, and Ryan Hanley for being a part of making it all come together.

This all happened on my birthday weekend. I could not have asked for a better gift

Thank you for everything, Mick. Genuinely. Looking forward to staying in touch.

Grateful to have been part of Lead Loud in Greenville and to break bread with Robert Irvine and the entire Robert Irvine Foundation team.

What this man and his foundation are doing is so real and genuine. Saving veterans’ lives through the Yomp hike, putting facility dogs on fire trucks for first responders, sourcing fresh local food to feed our service members on ships overseas instead of the same processed meals they’ve had since 1936. He literally changed and rewrote the legislation.

The rooms I got to sit in, the conversations, the people. This is what leadership looks like when it’s not about the stage, it’s about the journey. So grateful to be a part of it.

Had the best birthday celebration I've ever had at the Lead Loud event in SC. It was more than just an event. I got to meet so many great leaders, people, made so many connections and left with a reminder to be my true authentic self. The lessons I learned I will carry forever. Grateful for my friends and family and I appreciate everyone who reached out and made it even better. Can't ask for much more. I’m happy, healthy, and can't wait to see what the future has in store!

Message received: remember who you are. Be yourself. You have been and always will be enough. Just as you are.

Own it.

So grateful for this life of mine 🫶🏼✨ 2 years ago I started selling Seamoss as a side hustle, not for the money but because I was already making it for me and my family and wanted to share the wealth of benefits of my Seamoss with everyone. I sustainably source my Seamoss from St. Lucia, rehydrate it and let it soak in reverse osmosis water ( I own my home and the first big purchase I made was to get a whole house reverse osmosis system.) I only ever soak my Seamoss in glass and triple rinse it within the 24 hours of soaking. I then blend with my reverse osmosis water and freshly squeezed organic key lime juice. I make each batch of Seamoss with love and intention. This past weekend on Valentine’s Day was my first ever pop up, before that I’ve only ever sold over Instagram and word of mouth. I was so grateful to have been apart of that. We can really all come together and build something great in this life! It’s all about community 🫶🏼

That’s where your future is being built or broken.

Modern leadership is not about the spotlight.
It is about the standard.
And your standard shows up long before you do.

If you want a different level,
your smallest actions have to align with a different identity.

Because deep down, we all know the truth:

You rise to your level of preparation.

Most leaders are invisible and do not even realize it.

Showing up is not presence.
Being available is not leadership.
Sitting in the room is not influence.

Modern leadership has moved on from the open door policy.
Your people do not need access.
They need a leader whose presence changes the pace the moment they enter.

Presence sets the temperature.
Presence raises the standard.
Presence creates clarity and direction.

And here is the truth most avoid:
