Photo submitted by Aidan Richardson (@befiendish) for our new exhibition call for entries.

We’re now accepting SUBMISSIONS for a series of EXHIBITIONS at our soon to be expanded Detroit area gallery space!🔥

This is an open call with no specific theme, as this will allow us the greatest ability to create a variety of interesting exhibitions. Our primary focus is on contemporary landscape and documentary photography, but even if your work falls outside of that, please don’t hold back from submitting. Even if we don’t find a place for your work in one of these exhibitions, we’ll be looking for every opportunity to use it for something else, including our Substack Features, Instagram Features, and Mini and Monthly Monograph Magazines.

Head to the website to submit your work!⚡️Link in bio.

Aidan Richardson ( @befiendish )

“These images are from a project I’ve been working on for a few years now that is heavily inspired by the current climate crisis we are all facing. I want to show how powerful nature is and how no matter what we build, it will always return to the earth eventually.

As humans we rely on the natural world for absolutely everything in our lives, it provides everything for us whether it’s the food we eat or the materials we need to make anything that we create. In a sense it’s our god and it should be respected in the same way deities are in their respective religions. The project begins with photos of concrete scenes and man made structures with a full absence of nature, but as the work progresses so does the presence of plant life until there is nothing left of mankind’s influence, just nature itself.”
