Donate Blood, Save Lives!

The Baha organized a blood donation program last week to encourage people to donate blood! They had partnered with Hamro Life bank to ensure the process was clean and hygienic.

Did you know that blood donations can expire ? Hospitals count on healthy people like you to donate blood to facilitate surgeries and other complex medical procedures successfully!

The Baha also provided a lunch box for the participants and each participant received a certificate and stickers!

This is one of the easiest ways to save lives - so if you are fit and are healthy, please do consider donating blood at the next donation program!

Muscles grow under constant tension.

Optimal time under controlled tension, rest and range of motion are the best ingredients for hypertrophy ✌️

Next time you isolate a muscle or muscle group, try a 60 second set with constant muscle tension.

Ever wondered why your squats feel unusually heavy a few days after a hard deadlift session or why your deadlift performance drops after a demanding squat workout? One of the most common programming mistakes I see among athletes, especially in Nepal, is placing heavy squats and heavy deadlifts too close together.

Both lifts place significant stress on many of the same muscle groups, connective tissues, and the nervous system. While muscle soreness may disappear within a few days, recovery of the nervous system, spinal loading tolerance, and overall performance capacity often takes much longer particularly after high-intensity training.

If you're regularly training above 90% of your 1RM and accumulating substantial training volume, it may be wise to separate your heaviest squat and deadlift sessions by several days. For advanced athletes, powerlifters, and those handling very high workloads, this gap can sometimes extend to one or even two weeks, depending on recovery, training age, competition phase, and individual tolerance.

When recovery is insufficient, performance can decline, movement quality can deteriorate, and the risk of overuse injuries or pain may increase.

Remember: Adaptation comes from optimal recovery, more training is not always better.
