Some trips give you a break. This one gave me something I didn’t realize I needed.

A few days surrounded by women who are incredibly talented and strong, but also generous, honest, supportive and genuinely rooting for one another.

There’s something pretty special about being in a room with women who understand the highs and lows of building something, and who want to see each other succeed.

I came home feeling lighter, inspired, and incredibly grateful for these friendships.

Mexico was beautiful. But these women were the best part.
Thank you, @cassiecmyers and @capita_financial, for bringing us together and creating such a meaningful experience.

Life is loud. I needed to be still. 
I desperately needed to pause the noise of busy, of decisions, of worries, of my never-ending to-do lists.

I needed to step away from what I’m building long enough to remember the woman who is building it. 
This week I received the gift to be in the most beautiful place surrounded by beautiful friends who build businesses, carry big dreams, and still stop to ask me, “How are you, really?”  
There is something powerful about being with women who share the belief that there is room for all of us to succeed. Women who give you the space to breathe while also inspiring you to keep going.

@cassiecmyers and @capita_financial , your radical generosity, it restored me.  
I’m so grateful for the many women in my life who remind me that none of us were meant to do this alone. Especially grateful for these 8 women, who have become an actual oasis in my life. Who create a place to exhale, be understood, be encouraged, and leave energized for what comes next.  I am so lucky. 🫶🏼

Day two in Mexico 🌴✨

Sunshine, poolside relaxation, lots of laughter, and the most fun mocktail class where the ladies mixed, shook, tasted, and created three delicious drinks together. 🍹

The perfect kind of day — nowhere to rush, nothing to worry about, just time to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and soak in the beautiful Mexico sunshine.

And as if the day needed anything more, it ended with the most beautiful rainbow stretching over the ocean just beyond the villa. 🌈🤍

Another sweet day of friendship, laughter, and memories in Mexico.

Day one in paradise 🌴☀️

These ladies are settled in, the views are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the laughter has already begun. 🤍

Feeling especially grateful that this is part of my job and even more grateful that I get to do it for not only my boss, but my friend, Cassie. Watching these women laugh, relax, celebrate their friendship, and make memories together is pretty special.

Feeling very blessed to have a small part in making it all happen. 🥹🤍

Still summer for another week or two but reflecting on where did the summer go?? It’s been a busy couple of months yet I didnt go on any major vacations, hike peeks, or kayak rapid water. This summer was a lot of learning and growing.

I challenged myself in the professional realm with classes, books and a new board position.

I challenged myself physically with early morning canyon and city runs, an attempt to be a better golfer and a promise to myself to sleep better and avoid things that do not serve me well.

I challenged myself to learn new things and dedicate real time for non work activities and friends #mahjong🀄️
.
I strived to carve out real moments to check in with my loved ones and let them know I was available for a hang or to dance like we didnt have a care in the world.

It’s been a productive, busy, at time chaotic, yet quiet, joyous, grounding summer and while I feel like I still need the big vacation (Hawaii we’re coming) I’m glad that I spent the time the way I have and thank all of you who have made this summer what is was. You inspire me and I’m grateful to have had the time with you.
