Through paid apprenticeships, inclusive education and personalized mentorship, Be Infinite is helping individuals from marginalized communities build meaningful careers in luxury hairstyling. When we say the future of our industry is inclusive, accessible, and community-led, this is what it looks like in action. Hair Has No Gender was deeply honored to support the @behereandbeinfinite show, founded by @beherewithvee. This show is dedicated to creating spaces where every artist, especially students, feels seen, affirmed, and equipped to thrive.

• 62% students & 38% beauty pros, attended this year’s show, bridging the gap between learning and thriving.

• $5,000 was awarded across 10 education stipends to directly fund tools, products, and career growth.

• 10 industry panelists & 16 activations fueled real, unfiltered education.

• 7 local vendors, centering Latine, Black, Brown, and LGBTQIA+ entrepreneurs participated.

Huge love and gratitude to Vee and the entire @beherebeinfinite team for building a space that elevates our community so intentionally. We are so proud to stand with you.

I’m opening my chair for one afternoon to raise funds for a friend in our community.

For this day, services will be offered as a minimum donation, with the option to give more if you have the capacity.

✨ Blowout — $95+
✂️ Haircut + Blowout — $140+

1–6 PM | Only 5 appointments available
1-hour appointments

100% of service proceeds will be donated directly to our friend.

Want to give a little more? You absolutely can. Every extra dollar helps us reach our fundraising goal.

We’re also donating 50% of all retail sales from the day, so stocking up on your favorite hair care helps too.

For anyone who’s been around @chingonascollective, you have definitely met Mónika! She’s attends every single one of our meetups and has always makes it a point to be supportive members of our community.

We are throwing a fundraiser/mercado/ raffle to sell donated items & holding a raffle to support Mónika and her family.
➡️This event will be free and open to anyone who would like to donate & volunteer.
We are open to items, food, entertainment, services, crafting, any type of activities that can contribute.

This is a community event at the end of Latin heritage month so naturally, we will make it beautiful. 🌹

➡️Mónika is a local Latina entrepreneur, owner of Areito Photography, member of Chingonas Collective, mother, wife, and friend.
She has been hospitalized since May with multiple health complications, including her second liver transplant and temporarily lost her ability to walk, talk, and breathe on her own. To explain it in one post, is simplifying what she has gone through.
She has been in communication with us and has been sending us updates and smiles. However her recovery continues to add more financial obligations. She was newly diagnosed with Myositis leading to muscle failure.
We are doing our best to relief some stress from her plate.
Thank you to our friend Mónika for bringing us together and giving us your blessing to support you.

SEEK GOD IN THE SMALL PLACES

“My Pastor encouraged our church to Seek God in the Small Places this week. So I went for it and found out something special. We often search for God in the BIG moments only…the breakthrough, the miracle, the open door, the answered prayers.

But the truth is, God is whispering in the small places too!

The quiet mornings.
The unexpected conversations.
The ordinary assignments.
The uncomfortable pauses.
The little bit of peace that you can’t explain.

My Peeps, don’t overlook the small places because you’re waiting for a big sign. God can do BIG work in SMALL places.

I was drawn to this l tiny place on the campus of Stark College & Seminary. I call it my “Prayer Pier” because it’s quiet and overlooks the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.

Sometimes the places you thought were insignificant is actually where He’s building your foundation. Thanks for the advice Pastor Reaves!”
