goood evening my Willoughby walliby woos 🦘 lots swirling on and on 🌀🥘 i have not been sharing as much and biding my time in responding to things (sorry! but not sorry! i appreciate the msgs but also i have never claimed to be good at responding and actually have historically claimed the opposite!!) i been biding time bc i been thinking!! about next steps for the page as i want this page to grow in its impact through providing more consistency that it can potentially offer by creating monthly hotmothertruckers events for all u hotmothertruckers to gather!! ❤️‍🔥🚛🚚 the forceful turnover of third spaces by the city make affording + creating a settled in physical space for events far out of reach but i think it’s possible for my page to create a feeling of stability + nurture by having consistent events but this will take space and grace for me to think on how to go about this,, and space and grace is something that i am generally not good at giving myself 🫣🫣 soooo all this to say i want to be a part of creating a bit of stability in this city and i want to create a group you can always come to for a chill hangout month after month but gimme some time! (saying this to myself and to you!) 💓 i also would love to expand the team beyond just myself to host these monthly hangouts/events,, so if u’d wanna be a part of the hotmothertruckers team,, stay posted, i will provide more info on that soon! ❤️ yaaa wow i love to set intentions to a public audience!! but yaa i haven’t done a long ass super earnest ass caption in a while so thank u for receiving this <333 love yall and thank u for supporting and following the page and creating cool things!! and just for being cool and hot people in this sexc loving community!!!! 🥵😌🥹❤️❤️‍🔥 as always: check if u need tickets, check for other restrictions, i am but a gatherer and not ur mother ! 🤰🤱👩‍🍼 the first image is my creation, all other images are created by and belong to the pages tagged ❤️

On September 15th, millions of people around the world will take part in the Global Climate Strike, calling on governments to end fossil fuels and leap towards a just and equitable clean-energy future. Climate change is here, it's impacting lives, and it will likely get worse. As climbers we have a duty to protect and steward the lands on which we climb on. That's why we're adding our voice to the call to address climate change. We're planning to work on projects that make an impact here at home too, like calling for improved transit to the north shore and sea to sky region. Stay tuned for more work on this front. More information here: https://www.forourkids.ca/vanclimatestrike September 15th, 1pm. Vancouver City Hall Are you with us?

Wild times, new rope, good vibes 🐒 So many colourful people out on the crag today. It was a beautiful sight to see for a little POC newb climber like me! 👊🏻👊🏽👊🏾👊🏿 Thanks Sahil for showing me the ropes! @sahilgirish you’re a true climbing guru, extremely patient with newbs and an overall stand up friend 🙏🏽🥹 And here’s to my new obsession climbing 🍻: Thank you for teaching me patience, self-compassion, gratitude for others and complete humility on and off the rock. ✨ During difficult times in my life, I tend to grab onto my hobbies and activities as a constant. The outdoors community is healing, the nature time is a total relief from the city buzz and whenever I feel lonely I can head to the mountains, climbing gym or skatepark and find wonderful humans to connect with. These little things help me to focus on the world outside of myself, when my inner world feels chaotic, empty and sad. I’m very grateful to have these peaceful moments outside and to share in the abundance of good vibes that we all get from these activities. I’ve met so many lovely friends through this community who’ve helped bring back a sense of calm in my life and restore trust in others in a lot of ways. Thank you a million times over. I hope All Access can help others find this inner calm, mental focus and social relief that I gain from this beautiful outdoor space! As always, if you want to try something fun but can’t afford the cost of our rentals or meetups, drop me a line, send me a text or trade a service or time (we take volunteers!)… I will add a form to our website soon but pls DM me for now! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Much love & stoke, Sleddy ♥️

Last month Arc’teryx BC hosted a climb night to celebrate and honour International Women’s Day! Over 100 participants came out to boulder at @hiveclimbing. All were welcome and the atmosphere was cheerful and encouraging. Some of our guests had never been to a climbing gym before and this opportunity provided a fun, safe and encouraging atmosphere to learn and play. We want to thank everyone who came out to engage with community, try something new or work on your preexisting skills as a climber. Thank you to our partners below who made this evening so special! @hiveclimbing @talitywellness @southasianclimberscoalition @belay.all @elbo_patties @byemattea 🎥: @haileyelisee

“The most impactful thing that I’ve heard from a mentee over the past couple of years has been, ‘I see you doing these things and now I feel like I can do that.’” - Layla, Executive Director of @theserviceboard. In April 2022, we hosted six of our community impact partners at the Journeyman Lodge in Whistler, BC. Between time on the skin track, exploring the ridges above the Callaghan Valley and meals together around the dinner table - we sat down to discuss the challenges underserved and underrepresented communities face in accessing the outdoors. You’ll hear perspectives from our friends at @indigwomenoutdoors, @incluskivity, @belay.all, @theserviceboard and @zeroceilingsociety 🤍 To watch the full video and find ways to donate to our impact partners this Giving Tuesday, head to the link in our bio. 📍Unceded land of the Skwxwú7mesh Úxwumixw and Lil̓wat7úl. 📹️: @jeffthomascreative #AccessProjectBC #evoForEveryone #givingtuesday #evowhis #callaghancountry #journeymanlodge
