With a joyful and tender heart, we say au revoir to the Samsara retreat.

What a dear, sweet group of humans.

Our team prepared a farewell in the way Bumi knows best, Nyoman led prayers at the temple, Patrick offered songs to Vishnu, and we stood together in that sacred pause before the journey home.

Samsara. Not just a name, a philosophy. The eternal cycle of birth, life, and return.

How fitting that this group carried that teaching into every moment they were here.

Each retreat at Bumi is a beginning dressed as an ending. We say goodbye knowing that every soul leaves carrying something, the stillness of the land, the depth of the practice, the essence of a place that remembers you even after you go.

The spirit of Bumi Cinta passes forward through each of you.

We love you Samsara. Travel well. ☸️

À chaque âme qui repart, vous emportez un peu de cette terre avec vous. Que la pratique vous guide, et que Bumi Cinta vive en vous, où que vous alliez. 🌿🙏 🇫🇷🇨🇦

“To every soul that departs, you carry a little of this land with you. May the practice guide you, and may Bumi Cinta live on in you, wherever you go.”

Love is a living thread
Woven through every laugh
Every hug
Every “I’ve got you”

It can’t be owned
Or controlled

It just flows

Through friendship
Through sisterhood
Through the magic of women rising together

We don’t have to chase it

We are it

We are love.

Solstice 2025: Nurture Our Divine Embodiment

Live Talk Recording of Maggie Engel sharing the cosmic transits and solstice

This Summer Solstice arrives wrapped in sweetness, like milk and honey, asking us to remember what it feels like to be held. In this sacred seasonal pause, the Sun enters zero degrees Cancer, activating the most pure expression of Divine Mother energy. It’s not just cosmic; it’s deeply cellular. It stirs the part of us that remembers what it means to feel safe, to feel loved, to feel home.

We gathered at the Maui Scalar Room on this solstice portal not just to listen, but to attune, together, to something subtler, deeper, and profoundly real: the invitation to live as divinity, here, now.

The Astrology of a Turning Point

2025 is a year unlike any other. We are in the middle of an extraordinary energetic shift: seven planetary bodies changing signs in a single season. This has not happened in modern recorded history. The air is alive with change. That can feel destabilizing, but it is also full of magic.

We’re being shaken free of projections, expectations, and outdated timelines so that new possibilities can arise. It’s not a time to force clarity. It’s a time to soften into the unknown and begin to feel into the truth of what we are becoming.

Your Heaven on Earth Begins NowHeaven On Earth Begins Now - Summer Solstice Astro Chart

This solstice asks:

What does heaven on earth feel like in your body?
Not as an image or goal, but as a sensation, a frequency, a truth remembered.

If each of us lives from our own heaven-on-earth frequency, we seed that field for the whole planet. That’s the work. And it’s sacred.

Embodying the Divine: The Call of Aries

With Saturn and Neptune journeying together into Aries, we are being asked to take responsibility for our divinity, not as an abstract idea, but as an embodied truth.

This is the paradox we’re meant to live:
You are eternal and human.
You grieve, and you are infinite.
You are stardust and skin.

This is not about escape. It is about full presence.

A letter to the lineage that shaped me, and the freedom I choose now.

A Bit About My Father and Me

My dad was born into an affluent family in upstate New York, the son of a corporate executive and inventor in the chemicals industry. He was a star athlete, gifted in intellect, music, and writing. Sharp, charming, and full of potential in the world’s eyes.

But instead of following the path laid out for him, he walked away from it all. He dropped out of college , turned his back on his family’s inheritance, and chose a different life.

One of movement, spirit, and searching.

He met my mom in England, and together they set off for India, where they lived for some years and my sisters were born. Later, they moved to Iran, where I came into the world. From there, we traveled through the Middle East, Europe, and South America.

Throughout childhood I had lived in 16 different countries, spoke multiple languages, and yet always felt like a bit of an outsider though I didn’t realize it back then.
It was adventure, and it was also the quiet stress of a family constantly on the move.

I arrived in the USA for the first time at 14, carrying all of those places inside me, still trying to find where I belonged.

I never met my father’s family.
He kept his distance from them in a way I still don’t fully understand.

My dad carried strong ideals.

He was a true anti-establishment individual, turning his back on the path laid out for him.

He rejected the corporate world and the life of capital gains, and fully embraced the spirit of the 60s, travel, freedom, rebellion, the search for something real beyond material success.

He walked away from the world he was born into, and in many ways, I think he carried the weight of that choice for the rest of his life.

And so do I.
For better or for worse.

The constant movement and the absence of family roots left something in me, an invisible burden I carried for years without ever really facing. A sense of not fully knowing where I came from, or where belonged.

There’s a story you’ve probably heard, the one about the blind men and the elephant.

Each man touches a different part: one grabs the tusk and says, “It’s a spear.” Another feels the leg, “It’s a tree.” Another touches the trunk, “It’s a snake.” Each speaks with confidence.

Each one is telling the truth. But none of them hold the whole of it.

If I’m honest, most of my life has been like that, grabbing one part of reality, declaring it truth, reacting to it, defending it. Then watching as life gently... or not so gently... reveals more of the elephant.

So what is the truth?

I’m learning truth isn’t static.
It’s not something to grab and defend.
Truth is a wave.
I can’t hold it, but I can ride it. I can set a line, stay present, and respond to what comes.

Reality surfing has become the language I didn’t know I was already speaking. It taught me something simple and radical:

Reality reflects not just your thoughts..but your state. The intentions towards a co creativity with life.

My presence in the moment is the distilled wholeness of reality.
Not just my hopes or goals, but my energy, the importance I assign something, the emotion I respond with, and the attention I give.

Here’s where it gets real.

Imagine a 2×4 plank on the ground.
You walk across it with ease.
Now imagine that same plank between two skyscrapers. The wind rises. Your gut tightens. You think about falling. Your legs shake.

Same plank. Different perception.
The task hasn’t changed. The importance has.
This is the trap of excess potential.

The more emotional weight you place on something ..love, success, validation, the more it warps.
Like a star collapsing into a black hole, it distorts everything.
You lose balance. You fall.

Becoming Wind

She was never mine to hold,
only to witness the presence that unfolds,
a shimmer on the wave,
a story to listen to, and be told.

Like a blurred shape gliding through the deep,
a dream I reached for in my sleep.
She moved like tide, like wind, like flame,
but never stayed,
and never came.

I waited, what will be,
like moon adores the sea,
grasping at dreams that stay in between,
What will be, I cannot or will not foresee.

And in that long and quiet ache,
I lost the path I meant to take.
I drifted far from who I’d been,
a man undone, becoming thin,
his coins spent, no more to lend.
Back and bone no more can bend

But now I breathe, I stand,
I see.

I become
what I asked love to be
not a name, not a myth,
not a role to perform,
Like straw aligned with the tempest’s breath,
a heart surrendered, courting death.
The wind moves wild through every vein,
’til straw and storm become the same

A man with salt in his lungs,
and a prayer on his tongue,
not building a temple,
but being
As one.

I say adieu to something sweet,
a heart so true, so soft in beat
our tempo near, but not aligned,
we danced to songs of different rhyme

At this quiet crossing, I see what’s near
not love as longing, but love made clear.
Not the dream I shaped as ‘somehow’,
but the presence that holds me now.

The journey breathes,
as it always has
pain, then beauty,
beauty, then pain again.

And if I can
no longer resisting
the rhythm..
To rise..
to fall..
To become..

again
again
again

I learn
I learn
I learn

return
return
return

I’m sharing a little bit of my personal journey.
Lately, I’ve been writing more, there’s a lot moving in me during this threshold season of my life. I hope to share some of what’s coming through, but for now, what feels alive is the practice itself. The steps. The commitment. The ceremony.

Last night, I sat with my men’s group around the fire, as we’ve done for the past five years.
In that circle, I offered a simple ceremony, reading a letter to name what I’m leaving behind, and placing a log on the fire to mark it.

A small gesture, but it felt like a turning point.
A way of honoring what’s dying, and what’s ready to emerge. A condensed version I share with you here:

Brothers,

I want to name what’s happening in me, around me, and through me right now

Something is dying. Not in a tragic way, but in a sacred, necessary, and irreversible way

I am not in crisis.
I am in crossing

This is not about a single moment or mistake. It is about old identities that once protected me and now no longer serve the man I am becoming

I see the pleaser, the one who tried to stay good and safe to avoid conflict
I love him. But I am not negotiating with my truth anymore

I see the rescuer, the one who needed to fix others to feel needed
I am learning love is presence, not rescue

I see the self-abandoner, the one who left his own body to stay connected
He is tired. I am here to hold him now

I see the performer, the one who polished the outside but sometimes hid the raw inside
I am letting go of needing to be perceived as anything other than real

I see the philosopher of pain, the one who talked about emotions to avoid feeling them
Now I let the wave come. I stay

I see the sexual escapist, the one who sought intensity over intimacy
I am choosing sacred, devotional union

I see the isolated warrior, the one who carried it all alone
I am choosing brotherhood now

I see the contorted leader, the one who led from urgency and survival
I am remembering leadership is stewardship, not proving

I see the child of chaos, the boy who thought pain meant love
I am building a home of stillness

A Prayer for the Storm walker

Great Spirit,
let me remember:

The fire that takes is the same that clears.
The storm that shakes is the one that steers.
The silence in the sails is not absence
but the breath between becoming.

I lay down the armor I once mistook for love.
I release the weight I once called worth.
I forgive the mirrors who could not see me,
and I return
bare, but sovereign.

May I walk in rhythm with what is real.
Not to be chosen, but to be free.
Not to prove, but to live.
Not to soothe, but to heal.

May I give without bleeding,
and receive without shrinking.
Let my tenderness be power, not sacrifice.
Let my anger be clarity, not distortion.

Let my hands remember why they were made
to shape, not to grip.
To create, not to carry what is not mine.

And if I stand alone, let it not be on barren shore,
but deep within the well of being,
where in the garden of my heart
I find the soul and core
Far beneath the waves that pressed me, bare and alone,
where silence hums the unspoken,
but not unknown

Aho

There is a rhythm to transformation, a sacred cycle of expansion and return. For yoga teacher and transformation guide Danielle Tatik, this rhythm is woven into her practice, her teachings, and her approach to life. Through her work with Four Doors of Transformation, Danielle blends yoga, mysticism, movement, and artistic exploration to help individuals unlock their inner power and discover true alignment.

“Transformation and living in total alignment are achievable when you take the time to unlock your inner power and discover your truth,” she shares. With a deep foundation in theology, mysticism, and science, Danielle’s method isn’t just about movement.. it’s about unlocking the mind-body connection and stepping fully into your highest potential.

In this clip, she flows through Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation), a moving meditation honoring the cycles of life, the power of breath, and the energy of the sun. Wearing True Nature, Yoga Attire, she embodies the harmony between movement, nature, and transformation.

“I love that True Nature’s yoga clothing is comfortable, non-toxic, soft, and lovable. It feels like a second skin, supporting my practice and my body. ” – Danielle Tatik

Step into alignment. Find conscious materials. Breathe into your magic.

♥️ Venus in Motion ~ The Fire & Flow of Love

Love is alive today ~bold, raw, and reaching. Venus in Aries moves without hesitation, following desire with an open heart and fearless devotion. She reminds us that love is not something we wait for; it’s something we create, something we choose.

Yet, tension lingers in the air. Venus squares Mars retrograde in Cancer, stirring the push and pull between passion and protection. One part of us longs to leap, while another holds back, feeling the weight of past tenderness.

Do we chase? Do we retreat?

Or do we trust the rhythm of love to lead us somewhere new?

✨And then there’s Pluto. Venus sextiling Pluto in Aquarius, deepening the current, sharpening the edges. This is love that transforms, that asks us to strip away what is safe and step into something real. It’s magnetic, electric, and undeniable.

Adding to the energy, Venus also sextiles Jupiter in Gemini, expanding possibilities, opening doors, and bringing a playful, curious quality to connection. Love wants to be explored, spoken, exchanged, and it thrives in movement, in fresh perspectives, in the dance of discovery.

Today is an invitation to move with love.

To speak it, to feel it, to wear it like a second skin.

🌹 We love you too..and in honor of this cosmic dance and to share the love, True Nature’s silk line is 22% off!!!

Coupon code: allaboutlove
22% off silks for the next 48 hours

🌹 A celebration of sensuality, movement, and presence. Silk flows like Venus herself soft, fluid, and alive, a reminder to embody what awakens you.
