Needed a little downtime & social media detox after the craziest few weeks 😮‍💨… but wow, going back through all of the photos from the @missuniverseaustralia.official National Final is making me a little teary.

What an incredible 7 months with the most amazing group of women. I’m so proud of every single woman who stood on that stage and everything they’ve achieved, but most importantly, I’m proud of myself for standing back up there when, at so many points throughout the past year, all I wanted to do was hide away.

To @troybarbagallo & @sophiabarbagallo, who have become like extended family over the past couple of years, thank you for your continuous support & belief in me, even when I couldn’t see it in myself.

And to my South Aussie bestie @lillisauerwald, I’m so glad I got to do this crazy journey alongside you. From SA all the way to the National Final, I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else by my side. So proud of you & so grateful this experience brought us together 🤍

To the entire @pinktankevents team, you went above and beyond this year & that was no easy feat. Thank you for putting on the most epic year & Main Event we’ve ever seen.

To the incredible @alarna.au & @marchesicoiffeur, thank you for having all of us looking our absolute best up there.

And finally, to @caity_worthington, the BIGGEST congratulations on taking home the crown 👑 You are so deserving & I have no doubt you’re going to absolutely kill it on the international stage. Go do us proud!! (I also still have your dress 😅)

I am so incredibly grateful to the Miss Universe Australia Selection Committee for giving me the opportunity to represent Victoria on the national stage. It is an honour I will carry with me for a very long time, and one I am so proud to have experienced.

This program has given me far more than I could have imagined. It has challenged me, pushed me outside of my comfort zone, opened doors I never expected, and given me countless opportunities to learn, grow and become the best version of myself yet.

To every person I have met along the way, thank you. From the incredible team behind the program, to the talented people I had the opportunity to work alongside, to every sponsor who trusted me throughout this journey, I am so grateful for every connection and every opportunity.

And to my 27 incredible, strong and wonderfully diverse new friends from across Australia, what a privilege it has been to share this experience with you. I feel so lucky to now have 27 beautiful women I can call friends across the country.

This experience has opened so many doors for me, and I am incredibly excited to continue exploring where they may lead, alongside a career that I am equally passionate about.

Closing one of the most beautiful chapters yet. 🤍

Regardless of the result on the night, I knew I would walk away with an overwhelming sense of gratitude for this journey. For everything it has taught me, the confidence it has given me, and most importantly, the incredible people I’ve met along the way who I know will be friends for life.

I’m so proud to walk away from this experience with a full heart, a pure heart and so much gratitude for every moment.

The deepest thank you to @sophiabarbagallo & @troybarbagallo for everything you’ve done for us. Thank you for believing in us, challenging us and creating an experience I’ll cherish forever.
