Some nights remind you that life is still capable of surprising the version of you that once dreamed about the very moments you’re living.

Growing up listening to @bustarhymes , I never imagined there would be a night where I’d find myself dancing with him at his Grammy Museum after-party at @andys_weho

And yet, there I was.

Beyond the music, the legacy, and the energy he brings into a room, what stayed with me most was the person behind it all. A wise, incredibly talented soul with a kindness that made the moment feel even more special.

It’s easy to admire people for what they’ve accomplished. But there’s something different about meeting someone whose work has been part of your life for years, then getting to experience their humanity up close.

The sold-out Grammy Museum celebration of Dillagence 2, J Dilla’s legacy, and five album anniversaries was already a historic night. Seeing that energy carry into the after-party, surrounded by so much music, culture, and greatness, made it one I won’t forget.

I hope I get to see some of that footage someday 😭 But even if I never do, I got to live it!!

Sometimes the most meaningful moments aren’t the ones you plan, post, or even have the words to explain. They’re the ones that make you pause for a second and think about how beautifully unexpected life can be.
