🪨 - Not Bad Dave (aka The Cad) SDS - f7c ⭐️⭐️

Over a year since my first 7c on rock. This one went as quick as my first 7c in just two sessions. Mad to think there’s some 7b’s that I have sunk 10+ sessions into and still haven’t sent them. Not sure if that means the 7c’s are soft or the 7b’s are stiff. Either way chuffed to get this one sent. Thanks to @jamie_h_22 for the secret foot beta 👊

P.s. probably the most scatty and scrappy “top out”
I have ever done. Tried my best not to use the knee but it’s kind of unavoidable.

💄- Paul O’Grady 7b SDS ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Nice to have a bit of redemption with this one. Did the stand probably over a year ago now and have wanted to get back for the sit ever since. The top still felt as scary, if not more scary than the first time. Made up to get this one in the bag tho after 2 sessions, one spent remembering the moves and the other planting off the top twice before the send.

Had a fun session trying a few boulders set by Arron with @belterbouldering ,@rosswmcnair & @leviclimbing
Apologies Ross 🤣. Full send from Arron, David testing a few moves and a send from me.

Instagram doesn’t seem to like outdoor climbing videos but I do.

One from a day trip to Burbage North for the first time earlier this month. Another crag I am very keen to get back too. While the grit favours the cold I think it was a bit too cold for anything harder as we spent the rest of the day punting off everything else but I really enjoyed this climb and was happy with the contingency send.

🪨 - Barry Kingsize SDS 7a+

Last send of 2025 and it was a cold one. This was quite an intimidating boulder at first and it did initially feel quite scary for me because it’s got a committing last move with not the most ideal landing. I wasn’t really psyched to try it but after a random local came and graced me with some clean beta, I was able to avoid the awkward jump to the lip and static to the top. Amazing crag with a lot to get stuck into if the weather is good. It can be quite exposed up there.

Solo day out at Cratcliffe. Really enjoyed visiting this crag. Had a good few close attempts on T crack but didn’t have the juice to get it done in a session. Keen to get back and try some other stuff there. Made up to climb the egg, probably the nicest 6b I’ve had the pleasure of climbing.

Paul O’Grady stand 6c+

Another great boulder in Ogwen Valley. Scary boulder, probably the highest 6c+ I’ve done. Feels very exposed at the top but the overcoming that fear felt very satisfying.

Board Centerpiece Pinch 😍

This is a monster at 30cm long, 10.5cm wide and 6.5cm deep! Big enough to match so a perfect center hold to transition between sides on a symmetrical board.

Custom made to order 👌

I'm off to the Outer Hebrides for 10 days now and won't have any signal, can't post holds or answer emails, sorry (not sorry). See ya!
