Focus is the section of @friezeofficial Frieze London we’re most looking forward to. 👀 It’s the fair’s leading platform for emerging art. This year, Focus features 35 young galleries from around the world, with solo and duo presentations from some of the most exciting artists working today.

The section is advised by @cedric.fauq Cédric Fauq (chief curator and head of projects, CAPC Musée d’art Contemporain de Bordeaux), @joum_asseily Joumana Asseily (founder, Marfa’) and @freddiempowell Freddie Powell (founder and curator, Ginny on Frederick).

Swipe through to explore the six presentations we’re keeping an eye on. 👉🏻

6 artists, 3 paintings and somewhere to eat at Frieze London 2026.

Looking back at what we picked this year, there seems to be a theme: beautiful, cute, romantic work, a bit of ecology and quite a lot of optimism.

Benjamin Lallier’s cartoons, science and tech; Karim Boumjimar’s flowing world of desire; Payne Zhu’s 3,000-video installation; Ilana Savdie’s beeswax paintings; Rachel Youn’s mechanical flowers; and Yuichi Hirako’s strange ecological universe.

Plus three paintings we loved — and Sessions Arts Club if you can actually get a table.

We came away from Frieze energised rather than exhausted.

Maybe we can — and will — save this world after all.

What does an artist notice when walking through an art fair? At @friezeofficial London 2026, artist @majadjordjevic_ turned her camera toward ten works that caught her attention, creating a personal selection from the fair. Her photographs offer a look at Frieze through the eyes of someone who understands the experience of making art, presenting it, and encountering the work of other artists.

For #DSCENE, Djordjevic opens her camera roll and shares ten discoveries from the fair. The selection brings together established names and artists working across different contemporary practices, with galleries including Perrotin, Albion Jeune, Rose Easton, Seventeen, and The Sunday Painter.

Frontrose presents: Minor Ruptures

Curated by Lina Louisa Krämer and Dr. Luisa Seipp Minor Ruptures is a multidisciplinary exhibition bringing together works by Rebecca Ackroyd, Benjamin Lallier and Sofia Defino Leiby. Through sculpture, painting and collage, the exhibition explores subtle moments of rupture and reassembly through which bodies, objects, images and memories become unstable, displaced and continuously transformed.

Rather than understanding rupture as an act of destruction, Minor Ruptures considers it as a productive condition. A moment in which existing forms, meanings and relationships are unsettled and opened up to new possibilities. Things detach from their original contexts, change function or enter unexpected connections. The exhibition focuses on these small interventions and shifts – moments in which established structures begin to loosen and new constellations can emerge

Opening: Thursday, October 15, 6–9 pm
Exhibition: October 16 – November 7
Thursdays & Fridays 11 am–5 pm, Saturdays 10 am–4 pm

Rosegarden, Potsdamer Straße 98a, 10785 Berlin

Back at Boros Collection for the 5th presentation — where contemporary art, architecture, and atmosphere merge into a unique experience inside one of Berlin’s most iconic spaces. Always inspiring to see how each exhibition transforms the bunker in a completely new way.
