One week already passed since the OTTOsonics Festival 2026 and it is still resonating!

This just a very rough recap - of course it is never possible to capture what it is like to sit there under the sound dome and listen to the endless layers of sounds and sound qualities of the amazing artists we could invite for this years edition.

Danke, danke, danke

to everyone who made this event happen together with us, to all artists, to the team of Alter Bauhof, to our partners and families, to the audience and to the weather gods !

And of course we also thank our supporters:
@kulturlandooe / Federal Ministry of Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport / SKE Fonds

We’re already looking forward to the upcoming concerts, residencies and of course Festival Nr. 5 in 2027!

Stay tuned,
Manu, Carla & Bernhard

The Tangible Music Lab will organize its first Postdigital Summer School on the topic of Spatial Audio Instruments taking place from September 14-18 2026. This one week workshop activity is a multidisciplinary collaboration between the University of Arts Linz, Bruckner University Linz, the Ionian University of Corfu, the University of Genoa and USJ Macau. The goal of the summer school is the development of ideas, prototypes, controllers and instruments for the @ottosonics multichannel system, which is an opportunity to learn about ambisonics combined with tangible interaction design for spatial sound environments.
