Very successful art station today with @emo_evie9 @benitajoy ! The kids had a blast painting Easter, Valentines, and Summer themed crafts. Thanks @resilient_agency for making space for us. Shout out to @the_target_bargain_hunter for giving us the heads up on all the amazing holiday craft deals to keep these events affordable! #thisiswhatcommunitylookslike #forthekids #artistherapy🎨 #solidaritynotcharity #mutualaid

Oh, and I recommend getting friends that recreate your favorite Linda Ronstadt shirt. I don’t have all the photos from the night, but I’ve heard that the Veronica Pulcini Queen of LA shirts are a hot commodity.

We had a great time trying @saengdouangdara’s latest boba drink at @dympasadena this weekend!

Thank you to Saeng and Desiree for getting the community together. Refreshing drinks + books on a warm May afternoon = the best!

Stay tuned on for news on Saeng’s Lao cookbook! And you can visit Dym - boba and bookstore in Pasadena, open Wed - Mon!

The past two years have really made me realize how important having a community is. I love my friends. I felt so much love at my birthday celebration and I’m just so grateful for the people in my life. Thanks. I love all of you and am so excited for how we all are growing and what we’re going to do next ❤️

Who else misses Disneyland?

I miss day drinking at Disney California Adventure then going on Soarin’ a little tipsy. I miss going on California Screamin’ then having a margarita from Rita’s. I miss nailing the poses for Space Mountain photos!

I also miss cute baked goods like these Minnie Mouse cupcakes my sister used to make beforehand.

Who is ready for fall, y’all? 🍂🎃
.
.
.
I don’t know about you guys but I’ve already bought new fall scented candles and busted out my crockpot for a recipe. Once Halloween rolls around I start to get REALLY festive.

I know Halloween won’t be the same this year but I still plan on doing the same traditions: Making a big ‘ol pot of chili and baking some cornbread, eating pumpkin pie, drinking hot toddies, watching my favorite Halloween movies, and most importantly, eating cute fall goodies like these adorable pumpkin-shaped Rice Krispie treats my sister makes!
