I have very fond memories spending “quality time” with Paddy Keenan over the years. From San Francisco to Miltown Malbay and back over to LA when he came to play for us at the Southern California Uilleann Pipers Club. This photo is from then, Sept 22, 2007. He was so kind hearted and personable, sensitive and artistic. Obviously he was incredibly charismatic. I’m just so glad I felt like I got to know him a little bit. R.I.P. A gorgeous week spent in North Carolina teaching at @swannanoagathering, filled with great tunes, chats, and of course dancing!

…I’ll be dreaming of that pavilion dance floor for a long time 🤤

🌲 Meet some of Lark’s incredible teachers and read about their workshops!

It’s the teachers who make Lark Camp what it is. Year after year, these culture-bearers pass along music and dance traditions for us to enjoy and participate in. We are grateful for all the teachers who have graced our redwoods classrooms over the past half-century! In this post, we feature some of the teachers who'll be at Lark Camp 2026.

👉 Registration is still open! Sign up for Lark Camp 2026 today. Join us in the woodlands from July 31–August 8 for a week full of music, learning, and community. It's the best party around!
