"Is my policy still up to date?"
It's the question I hear most. 👀

Your policy was set up for the life you had the day you signed. 📝

Since then: marriage, kids, caring for your parents, a new job.
Your plan doesn't update itself.

I check in with my clients every quarter for this reason. 🤝

Save this for your next review 📌
Which of the 3 are you least sure about?

Three months in, the referrals never came.
I was ready to quit.

So I called @mftmfrshd : “I just need your blessing. Let me cold call and see how it goes. If it doesn’t work in three months, we call it a day.”

I’m still here.
Today I train junior advisors to cold call.

If an unknown number calls you one day and it’s me, now you know the story.

Know someone three months into something and ready to give up?
Send them this.

Two weddings today.
One thought I can’t shake.

For some of us, the wedding takes the whole budget and the planning waits.
I get it.

Start here: after your akad, make a new nominations. Marriage cancels the old one.

Know someone getting married?
Send this to them before their akad.

Today I attended @benjamin_loh’s social media online class. I first knew about him a few years ago, before I even joined the industry, as I listened to some financial podcasts by CNA.

My biggest takeaway from today’s lesson is having a healthy mindset when it comes to being okay with having an audience that doesn’t like you on social media, and utilising your own vibes to find your own tribe.

One reason I was hesitant to start showcasing myself on social media is because of the fear of judgement. After attending this lesson, it won’t make me less fearful, but it definitely opened my mindset a little as part of my own personal branding.

Cheers to many more lessons ahead!

Throwback to an inspiring time at #LifeConPh2026 in Iloilo, Philippines! 🇵🇭

We're grateful to have been part of the event as an exhibitor, connecting with over 1,500 financial consultants.

A memorable highlight was hearing from an agency director, a Lifetime MDRT, 3× TOT and 4× COT achiever, who shared how he uses @goalsmapper with every client to enhance client conversations and consistently achieve outstanding results.

Seeing how technology empowers top advisers inspires us to do even more.

It was a privilege to connect with so many passionate advisers, agency leaders and coaches, exchange ideas, and showcase how technology can enhance the financial planning journey.

This is just the beginning—we're excited to support more financial consultants in delivering better client outcomes.

Thank you, @lifeconph for the warm hospitality. We look forward to seeing you again soon!

They say you are what you consume.

If that’s true, then after last week’s LifeConPH, I’d become a little more limitless.

The speakers weren’t just accomplished, they were intentionally chosen to represent the Whole Person philosophy of MDRT. Every session reminded us that success in this industry isn’t built on sales alone, but on becoming the kind of person worthy of the trust people place in us.

Topics ranged from social media branding, AI, building a multigenerational career in insurance, leadership that multiplies, market trends, meditation, mindset, and creating an obsession with customer service. Every talk was another piece of the puzzle.

Being part of the Program Committee was an incredible privilege. Knowing that we helped shape an experience that thousands of attendees could take home is something I’ll always be grateful for.

But if I’m being honest, I think I was one of the biggest beneficiaries.

The conference reminded me why I fell in love with this profession in the first place.

One word stayed with me long after the lights went down: Paglaum, the Ilonggo word for hope.

Hope is exactly what we offer.

In a profession often misunderstood, criticized, and underestimated, we get to sit across from people during their most uncertain moments and remind them that tomorrow can still be protected.

That’s a privilege.

And that’s why I believe our mission goes far beyond selling insurance.

We’re helping build a more resilient Philippines. One family, one conversation, and one promise at a time.

Thank you to every speaker who poured years of wisdom into just a few minutes on stage. Your words will continue to ripple through every client we serve and every leader we raise.

Always a pleasure for me to meet fellow global speaker friends when they are in town. @benjamin_loh is a top speaker in the insurance industry. He gave a keynote at @lifeconph in Iloilo in front of 1,500 financial advisors.

Thank you for serving my countrymen, Ben! Thank you also for our chat around professional speaking and for the breakfast! Hope you, your wife, and kid will enjoy that fun, little game. 😊

A powerful day at the NGM Enrichment Experience with Benjamin Loh.

One lesson I'll be taking with me:
People buy from people they trust.

What resonated with me most was learning that you don't need to be the most outgoing person to build influence. As a fellow introvert, it was encouraging to hear Benjamin share how trust, credibility, and genuine relationships can create lasting impact.
In our profession, products matter—but trust comes first.
Grateful for the learning and excited to put these insights into action.

Some people teach you what to think.

The rare ones teach you how to think.

Those are the people who quietly change the direction of your life.

Today, I had the privilege of learning from @benjamin_loh at the NGM Enrichment Experience.

As I've grown older, I've realised that success isn't determined by how much you already know. It's determined by how willing you are to admit that there's still so much left to learn.

Every lesson, every question, every perspective shared today reminded me that growth begins the moment we become teachable.

I often tell people that my job is to help families prepare for the uncertainties of tomorrow. But to do that well, I have a responsibility to keep growing today.

Because my clients don't deserve yesterday's version of me.

They deserve someone who is constantly learning, constantly improving, and constantly searching for better ways to serve them.

Thank you, @benjamin_loh for your generosity, your wisdom, and your willingness to pour into others. Great teachers don't just transfer knowledge—they multiply impact through the lives of their students.

I hope I never become so accomplished that I stop being a student.

The day we believe we've arrived is the day we stop becoming who we're capable of being.
