First solo trip. Definitely not the last. 🇭🇰

I flew to Hong Kong for the @globalpickleballsummit not knowing what to expect, and came home with way more than I packed.

I got to hit with the pros and rally with @benjohns_pb and @annabright.pb. I'm still processing that one.

But the best part happened off the court. Catching up with friends from Malaysia. Long talks over milktea. Crayon drawings at Five Guys. Meeting people from completely different countries and backgrounds, all brought together by the same game. That's my favorite thing about events like this. You show up alone and leave with a bunch of new friends.

Then I spent a day at Disneyland by myself, Halloween parade and all, because the kid in me deserved it too. 🫶🏼

Traveling solo taught me that you're never really alone if you're open to meeting people. Already thinking about where to go next.

Thank you, Hong Kong. Until next time!

Day one of the summit. I'll be honest, I was a little shy at first since I didn't know anyone there yet. But a few rallies and conversations later, I started making friends. Then came Hit with the Pros, and I still can't believe that actually happened.

Ran into @federico_staksrud completely by accident. He's the player I've looked up to the most, when I started playing pb and the reason I hold my paddle with a pointer finger grip. I didn't expect to meet him at all, so this one really made my day. My GOAT. 🐐

On top of that, I got to meet and play with Ben Johns (#1 Men's double) and Anna Bright (#2 Women's double). Still feels unreal that I was sharing a court with them.

@annabright.pb signed @pelago.sports Cthulu.

Also @benjohns_pb signed it! Best souvenir from the trip. ✍️

Old friends from Malaysia and new ones from everywhere. This is why I love attending events like this. 🫶🏼

Event side quest, manage to hit the bell on second try hahaha same prize for the smaller bell, smarter to hit the bigger bell 😝

Met this bunch at the summit and somehow we went from strangers to a full squad in a couple of days. We matched each other in a shoe store, posed like a Spider-Man meme, and ended the night drawing with crayons at Five Guys like a bunch of kids. Offici
