🇮🇳 NEW ARRIVAL: VARSHINI HONEY 🍯 2026 marks the third year we have worked with AMRUTHAVARSHINI, a woman-owned farm in India. We trade directly with the farmer, Poornima Jairaj, and purchase several lots from her each year. This honey-processed coffee is exceptionally well balanced and could easily become your next favorite morning cup. Poornima’s coffees are truly a cut above what the specialty coffee industry has come to expect from India. Not only is the quality superb, but her growing practices are equally admirable. The coffee is completely shade-grown and shade-dried, intercropped with various species, including turmeric and peppercorn, and grown without pesticides. The entire farm follows agroforestry and regenerative practices. Alongside this honey, we also bring in natural, washed, and robusta lots from Varshini. THE COFFEE Producer: Poornima Jairaj Farm: Amruthavarshini Farm Location: Aldur, Chikmagalur, Karnataka, India Relationship: Direct Trade Type: Single-Origin Microlot Process: Anaerobic Honey Drying: Shade-Dried on Raised Beds Cultivar: Selection 9 Cross Elevation: 1,200 MASL Roast: Medium-Light Roasted On: Stronghold S9X We Taste: Almond • Orange Peel • Cocoa Available now at ThoseGuys.Coffee #indiancoffee #ctcoffee #🇮🇳 #varshini #directradecoffee

It is with immense gratitude and deep admiration for the entire team here, that I share that my chapter at @thoseguyscoffee is coming to a close. I have accepted an offer for an extremely exciting, full-time role in coffee, and will share the details about that soon. It would be a disservice to both of these roles and companies to try to announce everything in one post. I have learned more than I ever imagined possible in just four months from getting my reps in roasting, to bagging and blending beans, to assisting with classes, to cupping samples; I have honestly loved this experience with every part of me. It is rare to find a workplace that simultaneously provides feedback for continuous improvement while also providing support and recognition to drive development and being here has left me inspired and excited to continue my career in coffee. I have considered myself so lucky to have held this role, and I am stoked to support all the big things they have in the works as an alumni! I am so thrilled that in my time at TGC, I was able to play a role in @tonysflourshop’s transition to becoming a TGC partner cafe-and that there is a place close to home where I can still grab a cup of Off The Rails or Eyes Wide Open whenever I want. (With the timing of the offer and my vacation it may seem like I ghosted my role at TFS, but we are still trying to plan one official “last day” barista shift before the end of the year so stay tuned-there’s still a lot of love for everyone there too!) If you’ve been meaning to visit me at one of @thoseguyscoffee’s events, you still have a chance to grab a coffee from me and @benny_beanss this weekend: We will be at @tranquillityvineyard 1892 Middlebury Road, Middlebury, CT September 19th 11 AM to 3 PM

PARTNER PERK: Custom Blend Development ☕️ One of the perks of partnering with Those Guys Coffee is the opportunity to build something that’s actually yours. We’ll taste coffees in our current lineup, while exploring different flavor profiles and processing methods. Then use wet blending to mix and match coffees in different ratios until we find a combination that fits your vision. We will help you build a blend that can become the face of your coffee program. Big thanks to Brandon and Michelle for coming down, tasting with us, and spending some time dialing in their signature blend. #customcoffeeblends #coffeeroaster #cupping #coffeetasting #coffeelab

My friend Rob Rose was a rare type of guy. They don’t make a lot of guys like him. A truly rare talent. So much talent.. A rare example of kindness and compassion. He had rare abilities, rare thoughts and ideas. He was a wild man. He had the light of a thousand suns inside him. He loved life and music and family and danger and cigars.. He was an artist. He was a pirate. He inspired me more than he ever knew. Here’s the memorial tattoo I did for his brother @benny_beanss I think he would have loved it.
