Chicago. What can I say except thank you? For six hours yesterday, I had the honor of hanging out with and performing for hundreds of you, and it was everything I could've dreamed of. Thank you for your generosity and support. Thank you for your insightful questions. Thank you for supporting our guests, and thank you for supporting Benedictine. Thank you to Po for convincing his school it was a good idea to let the Kinda Funny Best Friends take over the place, thank you to all the Benedictine staff for being such gracious hosts, thank you to Millie and Ryan for being such great guests, thank you to Gen for keeping Ben entertained, thank you to my family for showing up, and thank you to Ben for closing out the show. PAX East, you're up next on the Tim Gettys Farewell Tour, and the bar has been set. ❤️ #timgettysfarewelltour #kindafunny #luckyboysconfusion #gregmiller #benedictineuniversity

Adapting this original farmhouse from 1852 into the Neff Farmhouse Alumni Welcome Center pays respect to the University's history while establishing the next chapter of the farmhouse's and University's future. DLR Group's design transforms the two-story dwelling – once housing the monks who founded Benedictine University – into a gallery and events space.

To ensure the addition worked harmoniously with the original farmhouse, all limestone used for the new construction was extracted from the original quarry that provided the existing stone.

A parent's job is to give them roots to know home, and wings so they can fly. It's still hard to say goodbye. They must make some of the same mistakes we did. They must use the tools we’ve already given them to err, analyze, and solve their own problems -- and we jump in only when absolutely required. It's going to be hard, but they will find their path... on their own. I am amazingly proud of @auroradawn227 and thank you @benu1887 for a wonderful move-in despite what is going on in the world. My baby girl is now officially an Eagle.
