We are excited to announce @berniemay is sharing her beautiful music too. “Bernie May is an indie folk singer-songwriter raised in a small town near Brisbane/ Meeanjin. With hauntingly angelic vocals and earthy rhythms, Bernie is a natural storyteller she brings a show that is a mix of raw emotion, humor and undeniable presence.” We can’t wait to camp out with you all and share some really special times. OKAY BDAY I SAW YOU 😍

A reminder that I only post the memories that bring me joy. I don’t aim to deceive, but the hard stuff and the happy stuff can and do co-exist ✨

Chronic illness has been kicking my ass for a while now, and while the days can be debilitating, they can also look and feel like this carousel 🥹
I do it in pain, I do it unslept, I do it grateful.
Because I refuse to succumb entirely to my bed- my room is cool, but what’s outside of it is far too wonderful to be missed. So I soak up what I can, and often reach beyond what I imagine I’m capable of.

I’m learning not to let the hard stuff stay behind closed doors, to be seen in it, and to ask for more support in the practical ways. A problem shared is a problem halved, and serves as a reminder to loved ones that it goes both ways- you may also come and be loved as you are, in all of your shades. My beautiful friends, I’m looking at you, you lead the way.

I’m proud of my body for all it’s trying to move through, after all it’s been through. A great lesson in patience and self-compassion, but the more icky self-accountability and tested-resilience too.

Thanks for being here xxx
Love to you
