Escape from the noise into a space of meditation and active listening.

Limbic 1.0 @versecafenyc was all that I could ever ask for!

After years of prioritizing flavor, sourcing and workflow. This new layer of muted entity explores sounds, taste and how we interact with in a shared space.

Thank you to @bernies.audio for the speakers. Thank you @lichennyc for the seating and thanks to everyone who joined this amazing experience!

Thank you @carbonstories for capturing this moment.

LIMBIC 1.0 by @muted.entity at @versecafenyc. An intimate evening coffee omakase followed by an original art performance that transforms the pour-over ritual into a meditative, ambient sound bath. ☕️💆‍♂️

Such a unique way to appreciate the craft of brewing. I am fascinated when seemingly mundane touch points are re-interpreted to produce sonically interesting textures and compositions. I had the privilege of attending an earlier iteration of the experience, so it’s really cool to see what @things.josephoxley is able to come up with. Appreciate the invitation!! 🙏

Of course, the coffee shines as well…well past midnight. 🥴 ahaha Brews featured beans from @driftawaycoffee @thoughtfulcoffeenyc and Gesha from @flowerchild_coffeeroasting. Always a thoughtful curation!

Thanks everybody who came by yesterday to check out our set up at @bqfleamarket and to our incredible vendors who endured the chilly April weather to sling records, CDs, cassettes and everything else they could fit under the BQE. Only in Brooklyn would forty record labels, shops and collectors be down to hang under the expressway on a Sunday
