Here you see the pots, the process, the landscape and the people. This workshop will make a traditional tea ceremony water carrier and Ikebana vases. They will be made in the Kurinuki manner with Bruce McWhinney on 14 and 21 November at My studio in Woodhill NSW. Email me for details.

There are a LOT of little jobs that come with running a boutique holiday accommodation. Some more glamorous than others. HA!

But making the bed? I think it might be my favourite.

Fresh linen, fluffed pillows, a few little finishing touches and suddenly the Loft feels ready to welcome someone new.

I think it’s the feeling of knowing someone is about to walk through our doors, drop their bags and spend a few days enjoying this little space I’ve poured so much love into.

It’s the little things that make Station Road Loft feel like somewhere special to stay. 🤍

Hosting Saturday's Korean cooking experience was an incredibly rewarding highlight. I was joined by a fantastic group of enthusiastic cooks who rolled up their sleeves to prepare a menu of exceptionally delicious dishes. The kitchen was filled with aromas of Gochujang beef cheeks, japchae, ramen eggs, funky kimchi, moong dal pancakes, and lots of banchan. Good food shared at the table with endless laughter and stories. Thank you to all those that came to this brilliant workshop and a special nod to @nomes_at_the_warra for her excellent sous chef skills and assistance 💚

Sunday date night, sorted.

Arrive as the light turns gold. Settle in with our Wood Fired Spicy Vodka Rigatoni and a Duck Fat Potato Galette, crisp edges and all, paired with a seasonal botanical made from whatever’s thriving in the garden right now.

Between mains and dessert, take a wander. The garden softens at dusk, the air smells of rosemary and woodsmoke, and the dining room glows behind you as the last of the light slips away. Come back in when you’re ready. Dessert will wait.

Book via the link in bio.

A little throwback to this time last year, when Moraea Farm opened its gates for the @berrydistrictgardenclub annual Garden Festival.

While the farm isn’t exhibiting this year, you can now experience a taste of Moraea year-round at SARA Dining.

Wishing all the beautiful gardens exhibiting this year a wonderful weekend!

The festival continues today and tomorrow, 10am–4pm. The perfect excuse to wander around Berry, explore some beautiful gardens and support local.

We’re looking forward to checking into @the_nest_berry again in just two weeks! 🐾💗

Honestly, it’s the BEST pet-friendly place I’ve stayed at, and I can’t wait to return with Ella for another beautiful getaway. 🐶✨

Some places are just worth coming back to, and this is definitely one of them! 💕

We’re proud to be sponsoring the @berrydistrictgardenclub for another year. Come on down this weekend and get amongst it! 🌱

Here at McGoldrick Estate Agents, we love getting involved with the Berry community and showcasing some of the finest properties on the South Coast of NSW.

As you can see, you don’t want to miss this. Get your tickets from in town or at the gate of any of the open gardens.

The Berry store will be closed today (Friday 16th October) I’ll be back this weekend.

Saturday: 10:30am – 4pm
Sunday: 10:30am – 2:30pm

Behind WHIPP (the label) is just me. I’m the designer, pattern maker, textiles designer and I manage every aspect of production, from sourcing fabrics to organising deliveries in my production line. And of course, I’m the one you see in the store! The list of tasks is endless.

I opened my boutique just over two years ago, only weeks after being diagnosed with cancer. I was defiant. I refused to let cancer take my fashion label from me. I moved closer to family for treatment and recovery, and opened the store in Berry, where I didn’t know anyone.

I’ve continued working incredibly hard while dealing with some very difficult personal circumstances behind the scenes.

As much as I’m a fighter, sometimes I run out of steam and need to take time out. Today is one of those days.

Thank you to all the lovely customers who have wandered into my store, supported my work and shown me kindness along the way. I’m very grateful 💛

(And here’s a little view of my colorful garden 🌺)

See you soon

If you haven’t already heard, there’s something pretty special happening at the Southern this month thanks to @pinkupberry 💗

Let’s be real for a sec. Nearly all of us know someone who’s heard the words “it’s cancer”. A mum, a sister, a mate, someone we see at the bar every week. And when that day comes, it’s a McGrath Cancer Care Nurse who walks in beside them and doesn’t leave. That’s who we’re doing this for.

On Sunday 25 October we’re throwing Pink Sunday, and $25 from every ticket goes straight to the @mcgrathfoundation. Not just “proceeds”, $25 from every single ticket, to the nurses who show up when it matters most 🎗️

🌸 Here’s the rest of it 🌸
A pink rosé or bubbles on us when you walk in, live music from 12, the pub dressed up in pink, and a proper Sunday roast by Damo and Josie from @illocale (If you know, you know). If you’ve been meaning to give our kitchen a go, this is the Sunday to do it. Come see for yourself, and do a genuinely good thing while you’re at it.

PLUS local legends and friends @saradiningandgarden are helping pay it forward with raffle prizes up to $1,000 in value, with all raffle ticket sales going to the foundation. Honestly, we’re proud of this little town for digging deep 💞

Sunday 25 October, 12 to 2:30pm. $70 per head. We highly recommend you email info@greatsouthernhotelberry.com.au to book before tables fill up. See you there Berry!

Visiting Berry for the Berry Gardens Festival? We’ve got the perfect little spot for morning tea, afternoon tea or a really good coffee!

Take a break from exploring Berry’s beautiful gardens and settle in at The Dairy Bar, tucked away in the historic Berry Creamery.

Our freshly baked scones are served with generous helpings of cream and our very own Maxwell’s Treats jam. This week, we’re loving our Blueberry Lavender Jam — a delicious little nod to spring!

Pair your scones with a freshly made barista coffee or a pot of tea, and enjoy a relaxing moment between garden visits.

There’s plenty more to discover while you’re here, including handcrafted gelato at The Dairy Bar and chocolates, rocky road and gourmet treats next door at The Treat Factory.

🌸 Visiting Berry for the Gardens Festival? Make us part of your day!
