I am excited to share that The Sanctuary, the sequel to my post-apocalyptic debut, The Split, will be yours early next year! I had a blast writing this book, and I can’t wait for you to read the conclusion of Kota’s story.

For one week only, you can pre-order the ebook for $0.99 on Kindle! Link in bio or comment "LINK" and I'll DM you a link to buy!

Or you can pre-order a signed paperback on my website. You'll get it before the official release (date TBD).

THE BLURB (🚨 warning: light spoilers for book 1 ahead):

The cure could save them all…if it doesn’t kill her first.

After witnessing the brutal collapse of the Split, Kota and her fellow survivors must venture beyond their protected community in South Carolina and into territories infested with the undead. Hollow with the loss of her family and home, Kota keeps moving forward with one mission: get her little sister to the Sanctuary in Maine, a safe haven where they’re working on a cure for the zombie virus.

But admission demands a sacrifice.

Governed by the ruthless ex-president, the Sanctuary requires each party seeking shelter behind its impenetrable walls to choose one of their own for human testing. If it means both saving her sister and taking down the man in charge, Kota is willing to jeopardize her life.

Except the road north is more vicious than expected. Kota and her friends travel through settlements full of fickle leaders, sadistic liars, and relentless savages, discovering just how far some survivors have gone to stay alive. As tensions build and more lives are lost, Kota realizes the only thing more dangerous than the dead is the living.

By the time Kota finally reaches the utopian colony, she faces a world-altering question: is humanity worth dying for?

The Sanctuary is the gripping finale to the Split duology. Fans of dystopian settings, high-stakes action, and a hint of romance will devour this sequel.

YEAH, SO JAZZED.

Thank you to @lillfred for an amazing developmental edit, @michellecampbellauthor and @caseyrenee77 for fabulous edits, @enchantedinkpublishing for line edits, cover design & formatting, @bertaonbooks for proofreading, and everyone else for your support!!

Not to be dramatic but Everett Sharp is your new book boyfriend!!

He is so handsome, charming, ruggish, a bit of flirt, has such a way with words, did I say handsome already? Oh don't forget his cheeky smile, his thoughtfulness and caring nature, his fake little smutty glasses, simply put he is perfect 🤭

But if you take aby recommendation from either me or Berta trust thatTwig's Travelling Tomes by @gryffinmurphywritesbooks is just the perfect cosy whimsy romantasy, it has a magical bookstore, low stakes adventure, a charming rogue, adorable found family and magical creatures and should be on everyone's autumn tbrs 🍂

Had such a great laugh filming this with @bertaonbooks

A few weeks ago I attended the London stop of the 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫’𝐬 𝐒𝐨𝐧 book tour and had the pleasure of listening to and meeting the lovely @veronicaroth 🧡

So amazing hearing a favourite author’s answers to deep cutting questions and getting more insight into the writing process! STTS has been one of my favourite books this year (and has one of the best sad hotties ever) so it was really a treat.

Got both STTR and my Divergent deluxe edition signed plus a copy of When Among Crows which I’m dying to read ✨ also I was so nervous and just blabbed about idek what at this point 😭

Shoutout to @bertaonbooks & @sianreadsandwrites for being the best company and fangirling with me plus lovely to finally meet @oliviascatastrophe & @libraryofchlo 🫶🏻 Berta ily forever for the realest t-shirt which I will cherish forever!

❔ have you ever attended a book tour?
