Festival of Endless Gratitude er mindre en parade af færdige værker end et levende laboratorium, hvor musikere får lov til at eksperimentere – og fejle.
— @kristoffermoellegaard

Next year, Endless Gratitude will celebrate its twentieth anniversary. For almost two decades, the festival has stood for a wealth of musical experiences, with a common denominator that seems to be concerts by artists who continually experiment with form and content. In some cases because they are not yet entirely familiar with their own artistic voices, and in others simply because that is how their working methods operate.

That grassroots feeling is still what prevails at Endless Gratitude. And it is what made my three days at Kildevæld Kulturcenter at Østerbro, where the Festival of Endless Gratitude took place something quite special. The feeling that you are not buying a ticket to a perfectly polished programme of musical experiences, but rather to a living workshop, a melting pot full of works in progress.

Festival of Endless Gratitude 2026 is over and we’re still tired and still processing but very grateful for everything that happened.

Gratitude to everyone who came out and brought their curiosity, open minds and attentive eyes and ears to listen closely, engage with each other, discuss, talk and have fun, dance, taste teas, create zines and take part in everything else that made this year’s festival so special. Without all of you, there would be no festival 💛

A very big thank you to everyone who contributed to making Festival of Endless Gratitude happen this year. To the whole festival team, including our dedicated volunteers, and everybody else who worked day and night to make this happen. And of course a very big thank you to all the amazing artists who performed or were involved in other ways. So many beautiful moments to explore, experience and dive deeper into.

We hope to see you next year ✨

What a great night and opening yesterday! For tonight at FOEG we’re getting things ready for a lineup that will certainly shake things up.

Thanks to everyone who came out last night! For the Friday lineup you can experience the surrealistic folk of Ivor Cutler (Slightly Imperfect), take a deep dive into sensory listening (Ex Continent) and see how going from black metal to eurodance in less than 30 minutes makes absolute sense (CCqsuele). Closing the evening you can rock out to the psychedelic avant pop of GUSH, move your feet to the gabber and neomelodic mash-up of NZIRIA and be blown away by the deep distorted trombone action of Maria Bertel.

◦ Friday program ◦

18:00 Doors open
19:15 Ex Continent (ES)
20:30 Slightly Imperfect perform the songs of Ivor Cutler (NZ)
21:45 CCsquele (DK)
22:45 GUSH (UK/AR)
00:00 NZIRIA (IT)
01:00 Maria Bertel (DK)

DJ: vio lino (IT)

Between and after the concerts, vio lino will DJ records while you can explore installations by Mai Skjødt, Lazaara Ilieva, Iris Sylv and Makulator, alongside the visuals and space design by Andreas Holmberg & MichelWK.

What a blast this year’s Meakusma Festival was! We are still trying to beam back to Earth, literally having been catapulted beyond the seven rings of Saturn by how everything turned out.
Thanks are in order.

To:

Our trusted partner for many years, ArsVitha, and, of course, all our other creative partners for their tireless input and work. Our dedicated team of freelancers, with many new faces this year, who kept everything running very smoothly. Our volunteers, without whom none of this would be possible. All the artists and musicians who gave us tons of amazing performances. The people responsible for the sound in all the venues; everything sounded excellent everywhere. „the italian crew“ behind the scenography, light design and decor across the stages and corridors. And of course, our audience, there for us wherever we go. Thank you.

We are happy to now share recordings of almost all the sets that took place in the Heuboden room at the festival. Head over to the Studio Néau website or SoundCloud and dig in.
See you all soon!

All at Meakusma.
