🎉 CELEBRATING 12 YEARS OF BRAVEHEARTS! 🎉

On Sunday 15th November, we’re heading to Grey Mare’s Trail near Moffat to celebrate 12 incredible years of Bravehearts Boxing, Fitness & Community Gym! ❤️

What better way to celebrate than getting outdoors, enjoying stunning scenery and making more memories together as one big Bravehearts family! 💪

📍 WALK DETAILS
🥾 Grey Mare’s Trail, Moffat
📏 Distance: 4.5KM (2.8 miles)
⛰️ Elevation: 278 metres
⏱️ Walking time: 1.5–2.5 hours
💪 All levels welcome! Some challenging sections.

📅 TIMELINE
🕗 8:00 AM – Meet at Bravehearts Hamilton
🚌 8:15 AM – Depart Hamilton
📍 9:15 AM – Arrive at Grey Mare’s Trail
🥾 9:30 AM – Start walking
🏁 12:30 PM – Finish walk
🍽️ Head into Moffat for lunch
🏠 2:30 PM – Head home
🚌 4:00 PM – Back at Bravehearts

TEAM RUN 🏃🏽 🏃🏼‍♀️

Good evening team, tomorrow our Bravehearts’s Saturday morning team run will be leaving from Bravehearts Cambuslang at 6:00am with coach @stevenmcmillan1 🤝

Tomorrow’s route will leave westburn and join the Clyde walkway, from there Steven will lead the team up to 9 miles on a loop coming back in on the roads 🛣️

Anyone wishing for a shorter route Steven will be on hand to direct you where to cut off, this run is suitable for all no matter the pace 🙌🏼

Two gyms. One team. One big community. 🥊

When I look at Bravehearts, I don’t just see two gyms filled with equipment. I see people changing their lives, building confidence, making friendships, overcoming challenges and becoming better versions of themselves.

I’ve always believed that success isn’t measured by how much money you make, how big your business becomes or how many awards you win.

It’s measured by the positive impact you leave on other people’s lives.

If we can help someone believe in themselves when they didn’t before, give someone a place where they feel they belong, or inspire someone to do something they once thought was impossible, then we’re doing something right.

Opening our second gym was never just about growing a business. It was about growing our community, creating more opportunities and reaching more people.

And the best part? The people you see in this video are helping change lives too, simply by showing up, supporting each other and being part of something bigger.

One day, people might forget what we achieved, but they’ll never forget how we made them feel.

✈️🇵🇹 PORTUGAL IRONMAN… HERE WE GO! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️💪

Heading to Portugal solo to take on another full IRONMAN!

The preparation hasn’t been perfect, and life has definitely got in the way of training. But I’m always telling our Bravehearts team: DO HARD THINGS! 💪

Challenge yourself. Get uncomfortable. Push beyond what you think you’re capable of.

A full IRONMAN means:

🏊‍♂️ 2.4-mile swim
🚴‍♂️ 112-mile cycle
🏃‍♂️ 26.2-mile run

🔥 140.6 miles in total!

This Saturday isn’t about chasing a personal best. It’s about showing up, giving everything I’ve got and enjoying the experience.

I’ll share my race number and tracking details before the race. Download the IRONMAN Tracker app to follow my progress throughout the day. 📲

Thank you to everyone who’s supported me and helped keep Bravehearts moving while I’ve been juggling everything.

❤️🖤 FROM BRAVEHEARTS JUNIOR TO MY RIGHT-HAND MAN! 🥊

Everyone, meet young Dawson! 👏

Dawson has been part of Bravehearts for over
four years now, and watching this young man grow has been something special.

When he first joined our juniors, he was a young lad who spent most afternoons playing Xbox! 😂 But through Bravehearts, his confidence, fitness and determination started growing.

At 16, he was at that awkward age between junior and adult classes. I saw potential in him, so I asked Beth to give him a chance at our Saturday sessions.

Week after week, @betharthur_boxingpt told me he was smashing it! So we welcomed him into the adult classes

One Christmas, we ran a 24-day mileage challenge, and Dawson’s effort was unbelievable!

I asked our members to contribute towards a wee gift to recognise his hard work.

Our community raised over £1500! ❤️

We bought him him some gifts and gave him the rest towards driving lessons

That’s what Bravehearts is all about! ❤️

Since then, Dawson has become a massive part of our team. Always helping, always learning and eventually coaching classes himself!

He’s honestly become like another son to me. ❤️

NOW FOR THE EXCITING NEWS! 👏

Dawson is officially joining Bravehearts as an employee!

📍 Thursdays – Cambuslang
📍 Fridays – Hamilton

He’ll be helping with social media, enquiries, events, scheduling and daily operations across both gyms.

The other three days he’s studying at college to become a qualified Personal Trainer! 💪

Now I can focus more on growing Bravehearts, introducing new classes, equipment and events, and bringing our two gyms together as ONE BIG COMMUNITY! ❤️🖤

Dawson, I’m incredibly proud of you!

You’ve earned this opportunity through hard work, loyalty and determination.

Hamilton members already know what a great young man he is. Cambuslang members, make sure you introduce yourselves!

🏠 CAMBUSLANG – We’re completing our first floor, opening the Lomond Grace Studio for yoga, hot yoga, dance, art clubs and exciting 30-minute high-intensity sessions!

🏠 HAMILTON – We’re renovating and modernising downstairs, with plans for a first-floor extension where @christie_derek will be bringing Unity Gym!

Both gyms will continue to grow and improve over the coming months!

I’ve always believed a gym should be about more than just training. It’s about friendships, confidence, support and belonging.

We’ve built something special at Hamilton, and together we’re going to build it across BOTH gyms! ❤️
