Kid’s yoga and story time.

Our faces are still hurting from smiling! Kids’ yoga during half term was such a hit.

Weaving stories and movement together to spark little imaginations was a joy to watch.

We know lots of you have been asking for a permanent kids’ class. It’s something we’re looking into. In the meantime, keep an eye out for our next sessions this October half term.

Thanks to @bethcooksonwrites and @cleopatrayoga

What a success 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 kids yoga and story reading with @bethcooksonwrites

My face is still hurting from smiling yesterday at the cuteness.

Sitting around in a circle getting to know what everyone loves about living by the sea, a reading of Margot the Mermaid from Margate and an ocean themed kids yoga class ❤️

Expect this every half term now folks. Our next ones will be announced for the summer for kids ages 2-11

What a special moment for the children to go home with a signed copy of the book too! 📖

A huge thank you to Beth Cookson, a local author who wrote 'Margot the Mermaid from Margate', for visiting our school!
Our Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children had such a wonderful time listening to your story, asking lots of thoughtful questions, and meeting a published author! It was extra special for those who had their books signed—something they will treasure for a long time.
Thank you for inspiring our young readers and making it such a magical experience! 📚🧜‍♀️💚

Did you know that we stock self-published children’s books in our shared makers space – all written by passionate, independent authors who’ve taken a brave leap to bring their stories to life.

📚 World Book Day is all about encouraging our children to read for pleasure so we’re running a special offer – buy a children’s book from us between now and the day itself (March 5th) and you’ll be entered into a draw for a chance of winning another children’s book of your choice, or a £10 gift voucher.
