Who knew….?

Who knew that one tiny little nudge a few years ago would take me half way around the world…?

Nothing beats great food, laughs, and quality time with friends.

If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out.

My name is Andrea and I love laughing. More importantly, I like to make other people laugh.

As we get older, sometimes we forget to laugh and smile along the way.

Hear some laughs and smiles over the past few years ❤️

I asked a few people what brings them joy and just listening to their answers, brings me joy.🤗🤗🤗

There are so many different variations of joy in the world. Tell me in the comments below which of these answers resonate the most with you?

And of course I wanna hear what brings you JOY!!!

Let me set the stage.

A room full of high achievers, successful entrepreneurs and professional speakers as the audience.

And then there is me in the front about to deliver a presentation on what I had accomplished over the previous 12 months.

At that point in my life, I wasn’t just nervous about speaking but in front of my peers 👀👀…

That wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t do the work.

That wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t ask for help.

That wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t have people willing to help me.
No one succeeds alone.

The saying is that “it takes a village.”

There are a lot of people who believed in me before I did. And yes, I borrowed their belief.

Between 2022 and 2025 there were so many classes, workshops and speeches that I got tired of my own voice!.

From someone who is very impatient- the reps take time and polishing.

It’s not instant success no matter how fast you move.

This video was taken in the fall of 2024 and it’s taken this long for me to watch it.

Facing your fears can be both humbling and empowering.

If you’re sometimes questioning where you are - don’t worry, keep going ❤️🙏

An amazing time to be part of the New York City Chapter of the National Speakers Association. The end of year member luncheon, thanked the outgoing board and efforts of volunteers, inducted the new board and reaffirmed the member commitment to abundant generosity. Having been a member for almost a year - I can tell you these members embody this.

It’s rare to find a group of people that truly care about your success the way this group has.

A few snapshots from the NSA NYC Annual Luncheon. ❤️

One of the things I love most about this community is that it’s so much more than speaking. It’s friendship, support, learning, laughter, and people genuinely wanting to help each other succeed.

A big thank you to @caitdonovanspeaks for her leadership and service as President. She did an incredible job bringing this chapter together, creating stability, and helping put so many great things in place for the future.

And now we welcome @courtneyhoppernyc as our new President. If there is one thing Courtney does exceptionally well, it’s creating amazing experiences and bringing people together. I can’t wait to see what this next chapter looks like under her leadership.

I’m grateful to continue serving on the Board and to be part of a community that keeps raising the bar year after year.

So much talent. So much generosity. So many great people in one room.

Looking forward to another great year with NSA NYC.

The good, the bad & the ugly.

People doing more than you will help you.

People doing less than you will criticize you.

Some won’t, some will, so what!

What’s next?
