Being a youth leader carries a kind of joy that’s hard to explain until you’ve lived it. It’s about walking alongside students as they begin to discover who God is and what faith looks like in their own lives. There’s something meaningful about opening Scripture together, asking honest questions, and watching understanding slowly take root. Seeing a student begin to connect the ways of God to their everyday choices is a powerful reminder of why the work matters. One of the greatest privileges is getting to encourage and support students through real moments of life; celebrating their wins, sitting with them in their struggles, and reminding them that they are seen, known, and loved by God. What makes it even more special is not doing it alone. Serving alongside other leaders you love and admire brings real unity and joy to the ministry. There’s a deep bond that grows through serving together week after week. These leaders have become some of my favorite people. Friends who share the same heart for students and desire to see them grow in faith.

✨F E B R U A R Y 🦆 what a sweet month! We went to Arizona to visit Uncle Fisher! Roman got to meet AZ aunties!! We drank lots of coffee and consumed lots of sunshine while we were there ☀️ I watched my sweet friends worship together at 2911 and I got to worship with them at Generation! Let’s just say we were sad to leave Arizona 😭Roman turned 8 months old! I finished 3 books of the Bible! Nourished my body with lots of great homemade food and started moving my body even more! I’m back and youth and JESUS IS SO GOOD! It was a good month, on to the next! Happy March 1st.
