Jaxson Dart flashed such elite potential during his rookie season 📈

Dart drew plenty of lofty comparisons from top NFL analysts, coaches, and players alike. Tom Brady, Sean Payton, Kyle Shanahan, Vic Fangio, Jim Harbaugh, Matthew Stafford, Ben Johnson, Alex Smith, and Robert Saleh are among some of the notable names that publicly praised Dart last season.

Throughout his rookie season, Dart made plays that few quarterbacks could make, demonstrate incredible pocket presence, and an elite ability to make plays out of structure and off script. Those traits have garnered comparisons to Patrick Mahomes.

Now Dart gets to be coached by one of Mahomes’s closest mentors: OC Matt Nagy. Can he unlock that next level Mahomes ability in 2026?

A Bills defender had ZERO interest in letting Shedeur Sanders get comfortable during joint practice, yelling “this s*** checkdown city” toward the Browns quarterback as the trash talk started flying

Joint practices already bring a different level of intensity, but hearing Buffalo’s defense openly chirping Sanders while competing against Cleveland made this feel a lot more personal than an ordinary training camp rep

Sanders has been under the microscope throughout his young NFL career, and moments like this show opposing defenses are going to make him earn every bit of respect once he steps between the lines

Bills versus Browns is still preseason football, but Buffalo’s defense is already talking like they have seen enough of the Cleveland passing attack
